  2. hit the foe at normal height with the j.2c. there is indeed a height requirement and a specific timing. zoular, if that is happening then you are right under them. 5cc will autocorrect for you. the 'safer' bet would be to run a little past this range, because there is always a chance you wont cross under at all this way. l understand this way is a bit difficult to do but only practice will help. however there are a few other ways to cross under. bnb into bbl -run under, continue combo 3c 9d 5b- sometimes will cross under 3c into dash 2a cross under- reset honestly though, if you cant consistently cross under (just yet) using these methods, thats fine, besides bbl these methods arent exact required to know, and are quite risky to be dropped. better return to neutral or do a corner carry combo.

    1 simple. this isnt explained in the frame data, when you wind down, you gain more velocity. gain enough and j.2c lv1 becomes j.2c lv2. how this was found out? practice! it took about 2 years before madao wow'd everyone. ...j.236a j2c lv3 builds its own velocity from falling from such a great distance. 2 pretty much. its pretty unreliable. 3 in the corner, using all wind for frog oki is -ok.- midscreen, no. if you will combo into bbl at any point of any combo, yes. 4 you may need the heat or may want to get closer using dash 3c iris dash 3c. otherwise, no, you dont necessarily need to use it; in EX, in the corner, poles get their prime positioning during george combos. in CP we wont have to worry as much with wall bouncing lobelias.
  5. pretty sure recovery is the same, just the nerfing of horizontal coverage has made naked ground lobelias less useful in general. for example, it looks like c lobelia fires, reaches maximum peak and stops, then descends at a steeper slope than EX c lobelia, making it more difficult to harass fullscreen opponents without wind/gaining ground. pros include being able to wind around -during- air lobelias and of course b lotus making them really fucking annoying to get past.

  11. Why don't they soft ban her, that's pretty damn unfair... Combos are really long in this game but that is clearly just stupid.
  12. 3c nerf is pretty bad but not completely so, it's still completely safe by itself and there are still a few tricks that can be used to keep the pressure on. 3c 236a is not gapless unless done immediately at point blank range and not instant blocked. As a string, it got even more nerfed with 236a traveling less horizontal space. Because her zoning is sooooo much better, I don't mind lol. In other news: mixup thread is almost done. Perhaps in a few days, another week tops. There are no designs, just lots of info, like a book. If someone wants to add that sort of stuff then be my guest.

  17. No, this is standard stuff, assuming the loops are, and will remain, an optimal combo path. Either way you're going to have to either launch the foe using a launcher, or they'll have to be hit out if the air. Most loops start out like this because the foe needs to be in the air for 5b to knock them to the optima spacing so the c moves will hit Info is coming soon as well, pretty sure loops are doable from 80+ prorate.
  18. not sure what amane's best starters are yet, probably 5b most c attacks, etc. loops seem to be like (starter)(launcher)5b(loop)(ender), with starter and launcher probably being the same (unless there is a way to get a launcher mid combo ala j2b). im just speculating though.

  20. mu's 'zoning' actually allows most characters a few chances to hit her before it becomes dangerous.

  23. It looks like amane uses some magic. Maybe. Otherwise, maybe he's just another Bridget, I mean, it's not like Bridget had any special powers. And, just like Bridget Amane doesn't seem like a main character. Annnnnd Bridget was able to beat I-no in his story mode? Which would seem pretty silly in the real story, just like amane being able to beat rachel would (probably) be. This is assuming amane is just a non important character
