It may have similarities with 6D, but it's probably more useful for crossing-up or dodging stuff. Mixing-up nicely however, can make BS another attractive tool for pressure. Because you know, it's rare to find someone who can punish your stuff consistently if you're mixing up properly.

TK BS is unsafe on block. Stand BS resets pressure but seems easy to react to. And even if you get countered by it midair, Rags can't combo afterwards. Can still be used to perform acrobatics, like BS'ing over Deadspikes and other projectiles... maybe...

You also can combo off of AOA j.2A j.D, if you cancel falling j.B(1) into j.214A (Sure they can reversal it...). Theorically, you should be safe even if they block the j.214A (no one ever does) On hit, you can combo into 214B 2B j.C j.214B 2B j.C j.214A ... j.214A j.D only combos in corner, but you can corner-carry them midscreen. Needs some field testing though haha

Still, adding a TK BS somewhere would just up the damage to... 3.2k? Old 6D would grant us at least 4k :o I know it's too early to talk about optimized combos, but that thing scaled rather badly.

Heat "prorates" for some reason, you earn more heat in earlier stages of the combo apparently. Tsuika has like CT Heat Gain on most cases. Oh, but dash 2B is cmv material... it's never going to hit in a fight unless you're kawaii :/ However, by replacing 214D with 5C in the combos, I managed to hit (5694) and (5436) respectively. 5C is kinda awkward to hit however.

Imo, Ragna was never about mix-ups and yes good ranged moves into nice damage. He may not have one of the best mixups around, but alot of things he has makes up for that. A balanced character that exceeds at nothing.

If you get them to respect your Sweep> 5D Oki, they won't mash a reversal at all. Biggest issue are Teddie and Yosuke's reversals.

He plays often against a good Tsbaki offline. Now, why Ragna lost option after 6B? This didn't happen with many characters. You can hit 4.5k off of 5B starter in corner, seems like a better option to save heat for that confirm.
