  2. I dont think Ragna is supposed to exceed at anything. However, losing options off a menancing Overhead (6B) was pretty harsh, and GH risk/reward is just not right. It should be like CS1's.
  3. Blood Scythe is really not a huge part of his gameplay, I've seen *awesome* Ragnas blowing up people without that. Obviously, it's still useful for specific situations like flying over projectiles or ambiguosly crossing up at certain distances.
  4. Something else I noticed about the 2AB pick up, is that I had better luck using the tip of the sword instead of closing in. But I'll try this one later, seems more reliable since there's no need to time the Sweep after they fall off of 5D.

  9. Probably not touched. Remember when Bang needed to JCC to combo into specials... Ragna can JCC 6C(2) on block too, but no idea why they won't just give us Special Cancel on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCtUwoBdQEY&feature=player_detailpage#t=135s The notation is listed as "jccOD", and OD duration is that of a normal one (~6secs@50% HP).
  10. So it's safe to think of OD as CT's AH, who could be only jcc'd. Maybe JCC is not "listed" as a cancel penalty by the engine.
  11. In fact, I dont think Susanooh, Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi units were man-made. Remember that the Cauldron/Gates of Sheol have always existed and humans wanted to tap its power.
  12. Jump cancel cancel itself lessens time, since it's a cancel. Being airborne (after 4 frames) probably counts as Air Activation.   14. Considering this was DID at max distance, a brief dash 5C might be able to catch a falling opponent. However, it takes Ragna 9~10 frames to bend his leg, before rising for the 6B. And at that point, Hazama recovers. Since 5B is 8 frame, there's a very short time to land a dashing 5B.

  20. Didn't see this in Wiki, nor around here (I think) so here's this little setup... 214B > 214D(1~2) xx XSlash. This will make XSlash crossunder, allowing extended combos and make you look awesome.
  21. We're losing 1k off fatals because 22C doesn't have fixed damage nor can be repeated. I'm betting everthing on FC 623D!
  22. Delay dash 2B (dont just dash, ruuuuun)... there's plenty of time to do it. Edit: Actually, you're supposed to: 5D > dash 2AB~5DD >214B That link is tight, and 214B must hit during 2AB and 5DD. My advice still stand though, delay 2B after 214B hits. Dont bother however, this combo is impractical. Train this, you'll be only missing 400 dmg: 5B 5C 214D OMB 5D dash2AB 5B 214B 5DD dash 2B j.C j.214A 214214C (5471) Edit2: Looks like I managed to get it down consistently by doing: dash 2AB > 214B > 5DD, instead of 214B~5DD
  23. I'd suggest something like: Meterless Combos, 50% Meter, 100% Meter and sub-items: Awakening, Non-Awekening combos. Optimally, burst combos shouldn't be used unless you get at least 50% gauge. Yu combos are extremely situational, and knowing which finishers and how much gauge to use depends on good judgement. It's not just "Do it whatever" , so there's not really an easier way to sort them.
