  1. They deserve it for trying to full screen Shippu. You should go one step further and dodge it with 214D~A/B, for added trolling. Or command grab. :V
  2. C followup stops you right at the tip of the snake head. So it really depends on where your chain latched on plus the hitbox of your opponent. Personally though, I wouldn't rely too much on it to crossup, specially on block. B followup is the "oh shit get me off the ground" panic button. :V
  3. Pretty sure it's bufferable during the super flash. And it didn't connect because of counter assault's hit property.
  4. Well he threw it out during counter assault. Terribad idea/bad luck on his part. And I thought you meant Hakumen's counter distortion didn't do any damage even on activation. My bad.
  5. 214D~B flies through counters sometimes too. I think its because of the corner.
  6. Even without blockstun, you still need 7 frames of nothingess so the command grab is untechable.
  7. I don't really use it for the invuln. It's more useful for the MIND GAMESSSSS. :V
  8. Whoa whoa whoa, Hazama's command throw is like godly, what are you talking about? Leads to oki and is pretty damned fast. It's really useful to throw it into blockstrings from time to time. I also have the bad habit of using it after I pull myself on a blocked chain. You'll get stuffed if they're poking, but if they don't try to counter your fly in, your command throw is sure to hit. Even beats out pokes.
  9. Frame traps are your friend. Specifically, 5B > 5B. Stance mixups also work, though prepare to run away/block when those get blocked.
  10. That's pretty much main Hazama strategy. Control knockdowns and build up momentum.
  11. Uhh, C follow up is still pokable. You get hit before you even have a chance to actually crossup. If they're not poking though, you're golden. Of course, this is the case for any of the drive followups.
  12. Bang 5A also hits crouched characters. Pretty big advantage right there.
  13. Average BnB gives ~30. Full BnB gives ~40. That's about all that you really need to keep in mind with these combos since he builds up heat so fast. Bang 5A, heatless, gets him ~3k.
  14. There is that, but then whoever gets the first knockdown is going to have an easy time applying pressure since nothing Hazama has on wakeup can beat out 2A. Of course, if someone flies in on a blocked chain then that's just asking for a punish. Now that I think about it, Arakune mirror might be more retarded than Hazama mirror. So many things on screen.
  15. His combos are like the easiest to pull off in the game. They're also some of the more boring ones, since eventually, people are going to realize that that's all he's ever really going to do.
  16. Hazama mirror is like worst mirror ever. Chains freakin EVERYWHERE. On the plus side, no DPs to worry about until someone gets the meter. Crossup combo works on everyone, but it's all about where they are in the air when it happens. Characters with smaller hitboxes need to be further from you compared to characters with big hitboxes when you throw out the Jakou.
  17. If you're fishing for a CH, sure. You're at a horrible disadvantage if your opponent IADs to your face though. Here's my flowchart for openings: Do I know he's going to IAD backward (most common opener sadly)? 6D Do I know he's going to IAD forward? forward dash 2C / j.B+C Do I know he's going to rush me? 3C Do I know he's going to dash back? 5D The other openers aren't really as easy to punish so I just let them go. Also, ballsy opening: IAD j.2C for crossup.

  22. I'm pretty sure the startup for Mizuchi won't catch out Mugen since, even on reaction, the move's only going to come out after the animation for Mugen's done. ALSO, no sane Hakumen player is going to Mugen from fullscreen. :V
  23. 6B's saving grace is that it's standing low. Although since most of Hazama's moves can be stuffed by guarding low, it's not really as useful. Yeah, Mizuchi doesn't stop time. AI probably mashed something. :V
