  4. Looks like Millia is somewhat back to reload and with her own version of AD cancel dustloop haha. Funner to use than the pinlooper we have now.
  5. I thought overall they look better. Lol it might be me but Ky's 2D and Sol's command grab seems to have more key frames of animation giving it a smoother appearance. Still it could be me.
  6. There are special KO animations if you beat them with a super move. Nothing like AoF or old SNK games though.

  13. Anyway come to think about it what defensive options are there for Millia. Especially during an Eddie lockdown and such. There is burst, DAA and squeezing in a 5P. Roll is too risky.
  14. More like blockstrings are used to keep the opponent on the defense and maintain an offensive? Well I ask because in GG there is a multitude of defensive options like FD (which pushes the attacker further), and IB (gives the defender somewhat an advantage to counter back) compared to MB where you either, block, shield or hit off a throw. Many matches in MB I see opponent A hammer on to opponent B very intensively especially Aka Akiha and whiff cancelling plays a part in mind games to eliminate recovery for slower moves or to not do it and bait the opponent at times. Anyway in GG does 'hammering on' to the blocking opponent really play as much of a role in maintaining pressure as MB? Or is it GG 'hammering on' just 'look' different but its just the same thing? YEs its a very confusing question.
  15. This is really the scrubbiest of all questions (directed more to MB players for a good comparison) but how does the blockstring system in GG work? With stuff like Faultless defense (pushes the attacker back further as he/she strikes) and etc I can't really see how 'effective' blockstrings are in GG compared to MB (GG has more overhead options in general than MB thats one thing for sure unless you're Akiha) in keeping the pressure. Moves like lvl2 bhb, secret garden, charged SE FRC, and such which are usuallly used to keep your opponent on defense doesn't really mean they're a 'blockstring'

  17. Saki... even if she will be my main. I admit she plays kinda standard but at least the Joe Higashi is within her. THRUST KICK! Besides cool beauties FTW! The game looks faster and more solid now. All we can do is wait.

  23. I heard last time in an article Slayer fights by enlarging his parts. Is that true or do they change that in the final version. I mean the screens that time of him doing Mappa Hunch the arm was HUGE.

  25. Id use the blue haired kicker girl and the sword one for obvious reasons you all have yet to find out. Anyway the game looks sweet. HI res plus super smooth animation. Arcana system is quite innovative but there is a good chance it can be broken.
