    Secret Moves.

Chipp's is good. Ky's isn't bad. Dizzy's isn't as slow as people make it out to be. It's actually average, if you combine everyone else's activation time with their startup time. If Dizzy ever manages to dizzy someone next to her, while having full tension, (oh, and charging too), she fares a chance of landing it, like anyone else. Oh, who am I kidding? It's bad. /thread
  2. Sold out? Maybe if he played in America, where someone could make a small profit off tournaments. He probably just doesn't find AC Johnny fun. I can understand why someone who played Johnny before AC would switch characters in AC. Sometimes I'm playing Johnny and I pull a ridiculous bait out of my ass, I like ridiculous baits btw, and then land it. And now the person is on the other side of the screen going, "Lol, Johnny why you so bad?" And I'm like, "fuck, he's right." He teched out to the opposite side of the screen and now I gotta chase him down and recoin him. I was better off not having any fun at all! Anyways, he plays such a clean Eddie. He's not trying to lock out all your options. He just wants the option you're about to take. First I ever heard of Yado. Not that I know enough Japanese to even begin keeping track of Japanese players.
  3. You live in Maryland? Stop playing #R online, coming up with #R glitches. Get with the scene and play AC (and other games too!) with us!

    Secret Moves.

I'm pretty sure Chipp's wall dive doesn't need the kick. I also remember it being 546 Oh and there's Dizzy's 100% meter IK. Some sort of charge down, up right left and two buttons. Don't remember exactly.
  5. I think I have it in one of the stickies I also think my math is off by a number or two, or the numbers might need to be shifted over a column or row. i forget, I just remember something being wrong with it. I'll look over it again, after my finals. in the mean time, you can check out the charts only section of DL's guide, and along with the framedata, and figure it out yourself.
  6. no, Johnny is top of B- tier
  7. You have a few frames of throw invulnerability when you leave block or hit stun. In tick throw situations, you can throw before they can throw you. Try not to get baited.
  8. There wasn't, but there is now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sE1HPbMPPLA I just went through, starting at the upper-left of the character select screen, and tried combos for everyone. When ever I found a 1-hit the worked on one character, I recorded it and repeated on all characters. I did this in till I found a 1-hit combo for everyone. This is not an exhaustive list. The combo was done with the exact same timing for all characters with in the same bracket group. Stared characters means that particular timing is not featured in the video. It's should be P-S-D, not K-S-D. It's corrected now.
  9. I'm pretty sure DC cares more about entertaining, then he does about winning. Someone find the old A-cho interview with him, from back in the #r days.
  10. People need to worry less about whether they are watching a good player, and worry more about watching for good things, regardless of the skill level of the player they are coming from. look for Dogura in jap: どぐら

You spent it for my sig.
  13. more like a fixed ps3 version, only available with a Heart-Pink PS3 + Joystick bundle. And the joystick lags.
  14. They got a new IP on the way. They best not piss of their fans even more then they already have. Unless their fans are to weak-willed to resist the moe~
  15. Last active frame of what ever move you are trying to meaty with, is what a perfect-meaty is. Just to clear up some definitions. Meaty'ing a move means to connect with a move on any of its active frames other then the first. This also tends to be what happens when you lay attacks on top of people as they are getting up. They both share the same name, but is more commonly associated with the latter. We don't really have a good word for the former. A perfect-meaty means to hit on the last active frame. The advantage of this is less recovery. (When you hit with a move, all remaining active frames become recovery frames, added on top of the original recovery frames.) Less recovery can be useful for many things. One, obviously being new combos. When we're talking about meaty's in the okizemi sense, if you're not hitting them on the first frame out of their wakeup, then it's not a meaty. In this sense, there's no ok-meaty or perfect-meaty; it's either a meaty, or it's not a meaty. anyways: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5462
  16. Perfect as in hitting on the last active frame? Or just meaties in general?

    [AC] Johnny vs Ky

I use meaty 2K or meaty 2S from a distance. Sometimes meaty c.S, usually after a OD, but the timing is really strict. Coin for easy-mode.
  18. LMF2 to tkEnsenga is an easy 1-hit and all, but it leaves you with no powered up Mist Finer to take advantage of the Mist. You can do 2D>Mist after the MSJH. You get to keep your Lv2 and it'll save you an FRC.
  19. If you can do it, go for it. Though I wouldn't say SB is as easy as IB. Not to mention the penalty for missing a SB can be much more severe then an IB. An interesting quirk: during the startup of airdashes, when you can't guard or FD, you can SB.

    AC: Combo Guide

I've been doing ...HS>KJT>KJ(frc), DB(frc)... If you're in the corner, you get a nice fat combo, by doing a falling.K-D (some chars/spacing just a falling.D) land, jump back up>somethingsomethingsomething. If you're midfield, you can do a basic aircombo. Or do a falling.D and tag them with a MF2 when you land, sometimes you can get a MSJH,Mist instead, depending on spacing etcetc. Can't go into any specifics. I haven't had the time/motivation to go in to training mode and break it all down.
