And to force people to fight each other, get the juices flowing. 8 or more people, standard 10 dollar tourny. If less than 8, round robin it and cut price to 5 bucks. If less than 4, then cancel it, play casuals and turn up the volume. Next monthly on Nov 17th, which is same day as high stakes. Who's going to high stakes? Someone call Steve. Like, noobs don't even wanna enter a free tournament. What noobs want is time to sit down and figure shit out. They want setups and time to play. Once that switch in their head flips, they'll enter tournaments. As long as the entry fee isn't something gross. $10 is the standard for "serious" games. $10 shows that the players are serious and the game is meant to be seriously played. Anything below the standard implies something is wrong with the game and that it's just for shits and giggles. I'll be there some time between 6 and 8pm. I'm gonna be hungry, let's eat.

What's nice for noobs is a quick tournament and plenty of setups (and time!) for casuals.

Robert left and we were down to one xbox stick for the rest of the night. I went through a lot of the old characters I used to play and I could do old stuff and FRCs just fine. Where as on PS2 I could not. Andrew Whyte was dropping a lot of stuff. Matt was a bit annoyed at the lag, but he'd get used to it. He likes the arcade speed. I didn't notice any lag, but I'm sure it's there cause it's that next-gen lag. I probably know situations too well to be phased by the input lag. I'll still go to the High-Stakes GG, but I'm not too excited about playing in it now, knowing that 360 is correct speed. omgomgomg

No shortcut, but loads just as fast, or faster than my PS2 HDD. But stuck with ugly main menu, gg. Will test game speed when get to Xanadu.
