Yo, let me drop some knowledge on you. VS RO, unless you are blocking a projectile, whenever RO lays a mat, he is always at frame disadvantage. Even if he does 5HS(frc),2D, he's still at -5 some frames. Unless you are a character that can directly punish him for it, you always use that time to reposition yourself. That's why whenever the RO player ended a blockstring in 2D, OR was always running forward. 2S-2D? That's 11 frames of free running. f.S-2D? That's 8 frames. That's why when you see decent Robo-Ky players do 2D, they do nothing afterwards. And this is also why you don't see good Robo-Ky players use 2D in blockstrings.

OR did do pretty well. RO handed him the win and he took it. But is it indicative of the matchup? I don't think so.

ABA jumping around like a SF4 scrub. It would be understandable if ABA had an air Danzai, but ABA does not have an air Danzai.

First round, OR tests the waters with 2S, RO backdashes. Robo-Ky 2K-2S-2D. OR retaliates by running to gain ground. RO jumps, and FD's probably realizing that jumping was a bad idea, OR sees it, taps HS. RO runs out of meter and gets hit by the HS. RO about to eat a combo for his dumb idea and uses up his burst. OR knockdown near corner, didn't tech for some reason? oki combo, blah blah, Techs and gets trapped, RO doesn't FRC to conver tthe trap for damage. OR gets to tech again, does SV to avoid another trap. He has to FRC now, and RO with 9 blocks of energy decides not to go for the run under uppercut. Gets combo'd instead. Then get's Gunblazed and combo'd again. Air techs again, and double jumps, and comes down with a button. Does not get punished for any of it. OR let's him land. RO responds with a desperate looking HS and misses the FRC. Eats a 2S for it, then givesup the round and takes an overhead and dies. Next round, RO jumps again, OR player doesn't look mentally prepared for that jump, RO gets away with it. Latter RO gets a short blockstring and repeats his mistake from the first round. He does f.S-2D, and jumps again. OR was already running in as punish for the 2D blockstring, sees the jump, and taps HS for the punish. RO gets combo'd. RO does a bad 2K and gets combo'd. RO does a bad 6HS and gets combo'd and dies. People are laughing in the back.

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12135055 First two matches I don't think are worth watching. Third match, the SL player seems to be having the right ideas, but doesn't have the right timings. Forth match is maybe worth watching for Millia players, but otherwise there isn't anything to see. Final match is ok. SL player has the right ideas, but is guessing more than he's waiting for his moments. Final round, the SL player was missing his execution and was stubborn, so the round got pretty much thrown away. Good vid for Millia players, I guess.

No one is thinking more than two steps ahead. Too many players deciding to go all-in, and more than once, at that. At SBO, I hope players aren't thinking it's worth risking one round, out of their two rounds, to score maaybe a third of their opponent's life. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11747283 ZA vs PO first round. -ZA nabs an airthrow and OTG summons, then.. jumps? Why? Stay on the ground you nimrod. -PO PBusters ZA in corner, ZA going to die, ZA can either use his burst or save his burst for next round. If you ask me, he should of saved his burst. He was too far in the whole, and he didn't have a bead on his opponent, or any momentum, that entire round. Aside from the random airthrow at the start of the round, he spent the rest of the round making bad plays and mistakes: Jumping when he shouldn't be jumping, not evading the slidehead, and next: the bad burst. But he doesn't want that airthrow to die in vain, so he decides to go for the burst. Alright, but not only does he decide to go for the burst, he goes for a bad burst. So PO FRC's the PBuster and gets the 2S for free. Then what does ZA do? He does a panic burst on the first possible frame. He just threw away his burst, he didn't want it. If he wanted any chance of avenging that random airthrow he needed to put a little bit more thought into his burst. PO gets the 2S for free, next you wait. If he cancels to HeatKnuckle, you burst the startup. If he cancels to 2HS, you wait for the FRC point to leave then burst. If you miss the burst on 2HS, it's ok, he's not dead yet. To follow up the 2HS, PO has to HammerFall>Break, then jump up for the air PBuster. ZA's last chance to burst is on the startup of air PBuster. And if he misses that burst, it's still ok. He shouldn't of been bursting anyways. The airthrow wasn't worth avenging. Do I need to go on to the next round, where ZA does a blind runup summon? Or the next match where RO and SL totally don't look like they're playing seriously. Or the next match where the ZA player is literally running into SL's fists? Or the final match with RO vs OR, where the RO player feels he should be jumping?
