When the hell did this happen? I never send messages back to people online. Marvel females: Storm, Psylocke Capcom villains: Sigma in X3 giant robot form. Do eet Capcom.
-
You know what, I happen to have a pdf file on hand that explains this whole situation perfectly This one right here. Can we all go back to arguing about which iterations of Mega Man sucked? StarForce or BattleNetwork would make me cry.
-
We get it. Throws are cheap. That is until you meet someone who can block overheads, which is cheap in itself you know, so then throwing is alright, since the cheaps cancel out. Get it?

I know you're not mature. My 12 year old cousin and my 7 year old niece take criticism better than you, keep a more level head than you, and listen better than you (and my cousin has severe ADD or something). So, you don't like Sirlin because his definition of scrub applies to you, so you've made your own definition for the term. I also highly doubt that you don't suck.

I go to the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm at the food court in the student center every Monday-Thursday from 5-6pm. Get at me. And at least David Sirlin's won enough tournaments to be a noteworthy person. You on the other hand are just infamous for being a royal scrub on dustloop.
-
Someone hasn't read David Sirlin's guide on playing to win. You aren't going to be a competitive player with that mentality. You're just going to be sitting in your local bowling alley, pumping more quarters into the Super Turbo cabinet, and at the end of the day, you'll have lost everything you walked in with, yet still have some odd sense of superiority because you picked Zangief the whole time, never won a match, and never performed a single throw. You'll then tell your friends about it, along with something along the lines of "at least I have my honor".

It's all according to the keikaku. Here's to hoping Capcom finally decides to reveal whatever iteration of Mega Man is going to be in the game, and Juggernaut. I hope Juggernaut makes it.

I've been thinking of importing it. I'm more hoping it will get announced for localization soon though. -

I'll be over there in like 20 minutes. Just waiting for a bus since I'm too lazy to walk from my dorm. -

Oh yea, have we been able to reserve a room for the past two weeks, or have we just been stealing whatever one is available still? -

If I'm going to go out of state anytime this year, it will be for Devastation =P -
Here's a nice corner shenanigans combo to practice without ippatsu stuff. 5B>5C>6D>41236D~C>j.B>j.C>5C>j.B>j.C>5C>j.B>j.C>jc>j.D>falling j.C>6C>6D You can also do it with 3C instead of the first 6D but it's harder to get the first j.B after that. Also for small ground hitbox characters: 5B>5C>6D>41236D~C>j.B>j.C>2B>2C>j.B>j.C>jc>j.D>falling j.C>6C>6D They're rather easy, do 3.3k damage, and build a stupid amount of meter.

Yea, I won't be participating in any AWA tournaments in the future. Besides a select few people, competition didn't look too great (I got a little salty at my luck with the bracket once I was knocked out and started watching some of the other players mashing away), and it was run horribly (the people who set it up obviously didn't know what they were doing with the single Makoto station that someone had to bring in and Mu-12 wasn't on every console either). Hopefully Revival and AWA won't be scheduled for the same time next year though. I don't really have the means of transportation to hop back and forth between the two. -

Does anyone who plans on coming to the Tech gathering this weekend happen to have any sandpaper? I need to sand a nut, and I'm afraid I might be too busy this week to get to a store. -

Lol, it's cool. It's really just my lack of tournament experience. I did the same thing while playing Chris, listening to the audience, only I hadn't figured out if anyone was specifically talking about our match. I heard your friends and got fixated on it, especially while I had an advantage. If I had texted my friend that I was up, he would have been yelling as well. I would, but since I went to AWA all weekend and didn't bring my laptop, I'm really behind on schoolwork. I haven't even put my new buttons I bought into my stick yet. No Valk until Friday for me. :8/: -

Good games to everyone I played at AWA, especially Chris (Pachirisu on here?), Skeletal Minion, and Jam's Legs. I think I need to remember headphones and music for FinalRound though. I found myself fixated on Jam's crowd of friends cheering for him quite a bit during the match. I had fun, even though I got knocked out in 2 rounds after getting a by in the tournament (I blame the random seeding). My win streak in the casual room made up for it I suppose. Also, photoshop. I was instructed to post something about it, so I am posting it. -
My thoughts. I guess if 5D is an instant charge now though, losing some chargeless stuff won't be so bad.

It makes sense that it would be some multiple of 3, so Capcom doesn't have to mess up their nice perfect rectangle of characters. Then again, they could also have one hanging off on each side like in the screens with the silhouettes that are out now as well. I would imagine they'd either go with 5 or 6 characters. I'm just hoping Alex gets put in, and a few Alpha characters (doesn't matter which ones to me as long as they don't waste a spot on Charlie. I just like Alpha's characters for some reason, probably since Alpha 2 was the first fighter I've ever encountered). Seems kind of lame that the character that's supposed to be the main character of Street Fighter 3 isn't in the game before the other 3rd Strike characters.

Lol, I hear you with the hand cramping thing. On BBCS's launch day, I could only get a PS3 copy that day, and I had my sticked mailed off to get multimodded, so I had to play on pad for the day. I had to stop playing the next day because my hands hurt so badly. I had problems when I got my first stick too. Mainly, I couldn't IAD with any level of consistency. I remember getting so annoyed at one point in the middle of an online match, that I unplugged my stick and synced my controller. After about a month though, playing on pad just felt wrong. On the rare occurrence that I have to, I find I have absolutely no muscle memory on a pad anymore, and I have concentrate needlessly hard to do even basic combos.
-
It's the game's way of telling you to go out to a local tournament instead of being a couch warrior.
-
I bought Accent Core over Spring Break this year, and I finally got my stick multimodded, so I've been practicing combos a bit lately. I don't have anyone to play against around here though, so mostly I'm just hoping that the game is rereleased with netplay soon.

Would anyone want to explain to me why might Jin be placed above Lambda? That's my only thing with the new tier list.

Eh, bad attempt at a bad joke was bad.
