One particular match I noticed was you vs Ginseng's Tsubaki. You were in the in air 90% of the time and you didn't need to be at all. The reason why that match up is so heavily in Ragna's favor (6.5 last I checked) is because his normals completely dominate her... but only if he's on the ground. His ground normals rape all of her options, and 6A destroys all her approaches from the air. There really isn't any need for Ragna to be in the air in his match up unless he's jumping in or comboing Tsubaki.

I say "button swap" tournament is more hype. Every match your opponent sets your contrls (and you do it for your opponent too). Opponents aren't allowed to see what buttons are changed to what so that they have to figure them out on the fly. Arcade lay out only, of course. For example: [K][H] [P][X][D] becomes [D][P] [K][X][H]

The only way this is going to work out is if each regional community claims itself as one and nominates players to be part of the team. For example, last year Texas players wanted to be their own region and didn't want to be lumped in with midwest, and no one could really agree on what counted as a region. To fix this, I suggest that each community large enough to get 5 players talk amongst themselves about assembling a team and entering (e.g. Texas could even have a Houston and Austin region if they'd like).

Yeah, typically balanced games ARE good, but they don't HAVE to be balanced to BE good.

Have you been to Evo before? Are you familiar with Evo and how it works? If you answered no to either of those questions, you should probably rethink your stance. If you answered yes to the second one, you're a liar. Evo is both a gaming tournament and a business of sorts. They want games to 1) bring in numbers, and 2) bring the hype. Unfortunately, BBCT was not going to be doing this. Had they stuck with BBCT in the line up, the game would have easily gotten the least amount of entrants and have the least hype finals. Most of the community is done with BBCT, and the people that would have played in a BBCT tournament regardless of it being an old version are in the minority here. Having BBCT there taking up a spot for an otherwise more deserving game would be the worst thing you could do in this situation. Besides, it's better to take out BBCT rather than keep it in for a "what if" situation regarding BBCS. It's very likely that BBCS won't be out on consoles in time, so in the event that BBCS did not make it, we'd be stuck with BBCT and essentially a wasted slot.
