  2. So what was dogura referring to with the tweet that said "Loketest 2 kokonoe seems B-tier" Because we have only seen one set of notes. ~Shiro
  3. So the first set of notes are the first loketest changes. However there was another loketest that happened and none of the information was noted. That is what im saying,.,, they dont exist. The only reason I know is because Dogura said "Loketest 2 kokonoe looks about B-tier" indicating that there was a loketest but it wasnt noted/posted.
  4. Yes, yes, yes and yes. The notes were indeed real... Which is why we posted them, However, there was a second locktest which we know nothing about. So there is a second set of changes that were made without the general publics knowledge. A few japanese got to play, and according to Dogura "Loketest 2 kokonoe looks B- tier", but nothing was reported. IDK why, but no one decided to report things or maybe they couldnt? Or maybe I simply just dont know about them. Ehh, I except there to be one third final loketest before they release BBCP2 in October 2.... or was it October 9th?? One of these IIRC. ~Shiro

  6. I would have to disagree on the Akatsuki matchup, for the very same reason Vatista is annoying, her projectile moves slow allowing her to trial behind it for a free get it, akatsuki has the exact same projectile. Only he has a double jump to make using reflect all the more dangerous. ~Shiro

  9. At first glance the MU looks like its in our favor, however its probably even. Maybe slightly in his favor, his projectile is very effective at gaining ground against us. Not only can he change the speed by swapping out 236a/b to confuse and make it harder to reflect, but it also goes right through Dahaka. On a more pressing note, while Dahaka is in 22a/b state, Azhi can still be commanded. He will not come out from the shadow unless the enemy is close, so at neutral use 22a/b to force him underground... People think he is gone, then 236a/b to punish any attempt at moving forward.

  11. Shall we go over the facts? We have 3 different legit UB setups at our disposal. JB+3D Fucco +6C Fermata>OD>Volante+6C of which, 1 of them is extremely versatile in battle. Our worst matchups got hit with the nerf bat: Tao & Valk Litchi(Not really that much), Mu-12(Her DP), Kokonoe(Dat hurtbox), Haku-men(For what little threat was left of him) Our OD now has an actual passive function, regenerating Ada HP. Carl has an anti poke tool to keep ada safe that can be combo'ed from on CH(Cantabile). La Terezzan is a godsend for neutral. Anytime, keyword people, ANYTIME Carl lands a Jc on any opponent (Except Kokonoe & Bullet) he can go directly into a ja fuzzy combo which leads into 2k+UB reset of 4k. For a cost of about 45% of Adas HP. For the most part aside from characters with strong neutral game, Carl really has no bad matchups. This could just be my bias opinion and I could be wrong but excluding: Mu-12, Litchi, Valk, Tao, Kokonoe(Not really),... I feel Carl goes even with Rachel, Hazama, Arakune, Plat, Izayoi, Jin and Azreal.. As for the rest of the cast =/ they get bodied. This is opinionated, but after playing all the matchups it truly does feel like this to me. But now that all of the characters we sucked against got nerfed, I can say we could go even with them. So thats 12 characters Carl goes even with, and the other 13 characters those matchups are in our favor even if only by a slight fraction... they are still in our favor. Which would make a S-tier character. Yes he isnt godlike like the other S-tier characters,, but Arks has done a very good job at rebalancing the cast. So even though Carl is top, he isnt all that much better than the rest of the cast... But he is still better. Very much how most people feel Kokonoe is not godlike in 1.1 but still better than most of the cast. Even though I am not a firm believer of that statement. ~Shiro

  14. The 236a link isnt really a 1f link, its extremely consistent so long as you have the proper timing with the jb>jcc.The timing on the Jb>jcc>>> is much more difficult. As an alternative, Jb>jcc>j214D>22D>6c>236c>214b>22B>5c>2cc>j236a In regards to the DP issue, because you are cancelling the forward dash into a 8jump your momentum is carried forward, if one were to DP... it should go right past her.. Havent tested it, but this same thing applies to a few other characters and their setups. ~Shiro
  15. Not sure if anyone already knew this but, If you combine corner ball Oki with a deep Jcc Tsubaki can go into fuzzy Ja/jb. Ja>Jc>delay>jcc>jD>jb>jc>236a>214B>22B 1.5k or Jb>>>>>22B>5c>2CC>j236a~1.8k back into oki. Best combo I have is Jb>jc>delay>jcc>jd>jb>jc>22D>6C>236c>214B>22B>5c>2cc>j236a oki~2.3k -Shiro
  16. Considering the fact that having Ada behind the opponent, while in WCO formation, is standard, using Fucco while down then tech into Vicace shouldnt be to far off from 100% escape. I thought I would give this *Twitch* share thing a try, usually Id just hord the tech and call everyone free............ Free.
  17. He did say OD, my mistake. Even if you do time it right, psycotic is correct in that it will still pull you. In order to escape the OD setup Ada must be in the corner with you... Either behind Kokonoe, or on top of you. WNCO~Tech+6D>Vivace WCON~Fucco while KD>Tech>Vivace You can teleport Ada in to escape the BH setup.. But its much more tight. WCO~22D while on KD>delay Tech>OD>Ada walk 6>Vivace Ada will walk you right out of range. -Shiro -Edit If you find yourself needing a few more frames then you can OD directly after the tech.
  18. The blackhole is a meaty, but that does not effect anyone. If meaties could stop invincibility then DP's wouldnt be as effective in fighting games as they are. When a meaty is done you can still wake up and DP because the invincibility is active on the first frame your character is able to be hit. Therefor, even if blackhole is a meaty the invincibility from vivace will still escape it. It is tight, but it is doable. ~Shiro

  21. But will there eventually be an update to give the Japanese versions, english sub/dub for everything? Since the game is already digitized it shouldnt be that hard to update the Jap version with all the english stuff, no? I was going to get the english version. But I have already have 4 copies of the JP one with 4 copies of terumi. I dont wana have to buy another one unless I absolutely have to. ~Shiro

Hope you guys find it useful. 2a/5a>5b(3)>5D(Max hold)>236D~B>6D Escape options: Stagger recovery into immediate dash forward (Run characters only), jump 9 or 7 (Jumping in the 8 direction will cause drill to hit) 2a/5a>5b(3)>5D(Max hold)>236D~ delay D>3c(Reset) In order to avoid 236D~B setup you must jump immediately after recovering from stagger, 3c will catch the jump out. 3c(Reset)>5c>5D(Max hold)>236D~A/B/C/D ~Shiro
