Trust me you think it'll be cheap but think about all the tools you need to get, the skills you need to develop and all sorts of things you have to be good at to make a stick that will work and will last. If anything go get yourself a prebuilt case from somewhere and then just wire it up yourself.

oh don't worry about that, its a generic usb, follow a standard pinout and if you see 2 black wires, they're both ground. One of them is wire shielding, you only need one. You can use any generic usb cable and just cut it open. the wire colors should match as per standard sorry about not being specific there. Just make sure you don't connect both red and black wires together by mistake. watch this video and it helps to learn about how and why to solder properly here is one made more specific to arcade sticks, courtesy of SRKTT

splice one up yourself its not hard you'll definitely need a soldering iron for this job this is also why you don't wrap your usb cable around your stick

yes, people would charge for that just use photoshop and make yourself one cool looking background for it and print it out at a print shop be sure to laminate and have a glue-like label on the back or spray paint the glue on yourself also be warned, a lot of print shops are now rejecting people for bringing in work with copyrighted characters

Actually, once you break that stick in, it doesn't feel so bad. However there is usually a 50/50 chance of it either a) feeling good or b) buttons and shit will break on you. I think I ended up explaining this somewhere on DL but I forgot. One real bad thing about that stick is the diagonals. They feel mushy after a long while. They're also not great to mod and take a ton of work to get it up to arcade standard. Here is a picture of one that's been modded by me to go full sanwa and as close to a JLF as I could possibly make as the shaft goes down too deep and would result in too much of a mounting height for the balltop if a normal JLF was used rather than the preexisting assembly. also an EX2 for that price is highway robbery and is only acceptable in canada

there are keyboard/mouse converters out there.... just never tried with them although one of my friends is attempting to make a keyboard into a console controller using dpad wasd and buttons by doing some stupid retarted shit with the keyboard if you're really having trouble, make yourself an ABC (all button controller) to mimic a keyboard and its positions that's been done often enough already

well it looks like i came into this a bit late... first disconnect everything between the two boards and then plug your chimp into the computer and see if it works standalone it also helps to know what is the other board you're using for the 360 as you may be breaking some golden rules by accident i apologize for not seeing this earlier.... muvluv alternative is too addicting
