Training stage is just annoying to play on. I don't need to know where the corners are like other characters do, but it's distracting because of how totally empty it is.

How'd you guess? Whatever, I'm free to ragna. I don't give a fuck anymore. Lambda/Rachel/Litchi/etc. are all less frustrating matchups to play.

That's not so much me trying to mash out of your combos as it is me failing to react to my own tech. I really should just eat the blue beats. GGs TD and Lich. Shoutouts to both of you guys subbing half of the cast. That was an accident, lol. I would never use Tager's normal throw unless I'm playing a Noel or looking for a gold burst.

Actually it's more like: 1) His j.C is immune to Tager's 2A and 2C (both of which leave Tager in a crouching state) 2) He gets 4k+ on Tager regardless if he's in a crouching or standing state 3) He gets 3k meterless combos with C ID if my back is to the corner 4) The very existence of ID 5) Fuzzy guards 6) Ambiguous cross-ups 7) I keep trying to mash 360 after blocking GH only to eat the followup 8) He ALWAYS has enough heat to RC any unsafe move and give himself another mixup opportunity 9) Barrier blocking doesn't work because his shit has so much range ^ my novel in spark notes form. But yes, I eat overheads sometimes. My blocking isn't perfect.

that's not really the reason I lost. I could write a novel on how much I hate this matchup and how I've hated it since CT, but whatever, bullshit matchup is bullshit.

So far I haven't gotten the MTW to connect. It's probably too slow for this to work. I somehow got Tager to sledge in the wrong direction. That should be an achievement.

I've tried j.B to catch rolls myself, with mixed success. It's great when it works; pick it up just like you would with OTG j.B > 5C. But as Isorropia said, it can't cover every possible tech option and you lose your oki if you guess wrong. It's probably better to use it on characters/players who you KNOW will try to roll out of the corner, like Lambdas. I once saw a XBL Hazama use a Houtenjin OS for people who rolled out of the corner. If his opponent rolled, they ate a Houtenjin. If not, he whiffed a 5B. I've never tried working this into a real game, but I think a similar OS can work for Tager.

I block the 2B, but if it's -4 on block I shouldn't have to respect anything she does afterward, barring an immediate 5C. I'm Tager, I should be making people hate themselves.
