  1. Divide a dollar minus 98 cents? I slept through math in high school, boringly easy. Real talk a new guide would be shiny.
  2. Yea but 421 aside he can still slowly build safe meter, and of course 421 when appropriate. Long story short, if he's smart he'll back off and look for an opening, if he gets 421B happy; punish. It's really all about the kind of Tager, learn his habits and capitalize on that.

  4. There's an edit button my friend, just if you're going to do it do a good job. I hate it when I read some data and it looks alright, but then I see something conflicting/similar. Damages, character specific combos/inserts, Heat gain, pressure strings, mixups, mindgames do it all. You can add 'theory' and whatnot afterwards so don't feel pressured to backdown on something necessary.
  5. Tools aside I guess to get some discussion going what would be Rag's best options for combos on counter? I'd look at the combo list, but I'm hoping for more character-specific postings, to match his strange properties.
  6. Dat magic hitbox. 2D has served me very well in my experience; even if my brain decides to stop working I just auto-pilot do the input and 90% of the time it connects, to my happy surprise. The hitboxes in this game make me sad at times :'(
  7. Interesting, and thanks for the tidbit. What originally sparked this was aside from noticing the 'random' deviations in the combos, I was being lazy and hoping I could just utilize my old muscle memory from the 6C loop.
  8. What do you mean the dash whiffs? Do you mean the dash doesn't come out? The timing is changed from CT, you have to wait until the animation is resetting, and thusly you have to be a lot sharper in your timing. I skimmed the topic so forgive me if I missed this; but in relation to Noel's drive moves is there any negligible difference when using the standard 6B->5C/5C->6B drive link? I did short tests and the proration is identical more or less (2D d.6a d.6C 214A 2B 6C J.D 6D (d.6B d.5C/d.5C d.6B (1 Damage difference o_O)) 236D). I haven't yet bothered trying this on the rest but neither whiffed so I was wondering if there was something I missed? Or is it legit to use either order?

  11. How is it crazy? Her inputs are very fast and if you're a good player that uses more advanced methods then there is more room for you to make mistakes; and as a novice I make mistakes. Drive spammers wouldn't care about things like her 6C loop, but for me in a pressure situation like most people I have a harder time making it work (this changes with experience, as again I am a novice). Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she's hard or the hardest, just requires a lot of finesse. I'd take pulling off a Ragna combo anyday as opposed, especially if there's lag.
  12. Noel fits my personality and is my ideal or "Dream Character". Ragna was easy to pick up and get pretty decent with, so I use him when I want to play a heated match and make as few mistakes as possible (Since Noel is very technical). Truth be told I only picked up Raggy since I wanted to be cheeky and beat my friends with their own mains :D But he proved to be very fun so it stuck..
