Is Terumi really that bad to y'all? Terumi seems like a good character to me. I feel he's designed around playing footsies. Don't confuse footsies with neutral though. If you don't know or understand what footsies are, read the footsies handbook on sonic hurricane(same principles still apply). Terumi has all the tools to excel with a strategy centered around around playing footsies at midrange, and making your opponent respect 5D. His movement and how his other tools are used can make him hard to deal with. Smart usage of meter(Not spending meter every chance you get to add damage to confirms, or recklessly throwing out supers in neutral) is also important. His damage, on average, may not be the highest by doing this, but I would take 2-2.5k with 50 meter especially when a combo ending with a 100 heat 632146D can reach 5k. You can still feasibly kill in 3 combos. Disclaimer: I'm kinda biased because I've been bodied by Lostsoul's Terumi, but that showed Terumi can be a dangerous character in the right hands.

I want to add that as Rachel you need to discourage the use of ice blade(236A). 6693D works great. You still retain a jump option, can block, and will move george forward if he's out forcing us to do something. You can easily catch the recovery of ice blade with this if you get a good read. You can also challenge our 5C with your 2A. Also, its better for us to kill george with 2C since we can jump cancel or gatling to 5D/2D to catch you off guard. This matchup completely changes when you make us think twice about throwing ice blades. We dont want to be punished and put in the corner for recklessly throwing an ice blade.

Henjin I'll play you a little drunk though so I may fall asleep randomly. I've read over the last few pages out of sheer boredom. Errol your full of yourself. I've played you, and I know you claim lag as your excuse for losing(though I disagree). Your not a good rachel in my opinion. You try to thrive off your character's strengths, but lack the fundamentals to do so Blaming losses on lag is stupid. It's disrespectful to your opponent who outplayed you under the same conditions whether you believe it or not. Especially when its a good connection for online. Blaming a loss on execution is dumb as well even if you could've killed the opponent. It simply means you didn't practice/grind enough and you need to work harder. Character difficulty/execution is irrevelant because characters with difficult execution have a tendency to not have to work as hard as a charcter with simple execution(I've seen both sides as a former valk player and jin main.). Players execute well even online. TD always executes. No matter how much I wish for him to drop combos.

GGs Henjin. Yea I'm still trying to figure out what happened. I'm thinking I just missed the active frames of the first calamity sword, and hit you right before the second went active. Your invul is probably up until the first sword as well.

Actually we pretty much went even. That's also true for the whole set. I struggled against haz in neutral. Also, I meant advice with me playing as Haz, but I do need advice fighting him at neutral. I'm going to play haz against you next time so I'll just wait till then.

I only played valk in cs2 and cse. Now I just play around in training mode with him every now and then. I dropped him this version to focus on grasping fundamentals cause I felt like I only got wins cause valk was too strong. Edit:Valk isnt that hard in my opinion. He just requires a little more lab time then others. The difficulty is in learning him. Once you get his movement and tools down it's kinda easy to beat people. I'm speaking from cse experience. Havent played him much this version though the only thing really different is damage.
