Was it just me, or at the end of Omito JO vs HTT MI, did the announcer scream out, "AA DOMI BURST!", referring to the way Domi (AN) bursts and then loses?
This is a pretty specific example, but versus my slayer-playing friend, I'd often use f.s to clash with pilebunker or counter hit him out of the dandy/follow up he chose. Sometimes it was hard to time because he could hit me CH between hit 1 and 2 of f.s, but maybe now it'll be easier to hit people out of things from a distance with far slash.

Yeah, I thought OTG and Slide state were two separate things...
OTG is the same as it has always been from what I thought, and then there are certain moves that cause "slide state", and if you hit them in that state, it counts as airborne hits. I guess you could call "sliding" a new OTG system, like drzero said.

I have a question regarding training mode. When I was talking to Ruu in this hotel room at evo, he was setting up Ky to do reversal dragon punch and showing how to whiff moves in the air and be safe. The way he timed it was so that the Ky was recording while Ruu did his combo to him, and then after getting knocked down, he'd do reversal VT. How do I easily set the computer to the right amount of time after my knockdown to do DP? I forget how Ruu set it up, but it was really simple. The way I always set it up myself, was that the button would just activate VT and I'd have to push it in between my setups which was awkward.

If he was going to IAD from a jcable move to j.hd, you could probably j.p it if you anticipated it, anti air it with whatever your character has (he might go over it too...), or just wait and backdash it, though j.hs recovers fast so he can probably do some silly vv stuff.

Depends on range, but I'm sure it's possible. Just be careful if Baiken's swinging around 6hs. The move has slow start up and she's really vulnerable if it whiffs so you might be better off poking her out of it with something like 5k/5s(f), or just getting out of the way with a backdash.
