  2. Slayer? Johnny can hurt chipp really badly too, especially since chipp is one of the characters that Johnny can do 2d, coin, 5k/5s, lv2 HMF, then air combo killer joker nonsense 50%-70% damage.

  7. You can't JI from 6p because it isn't jump cancellable. You can JI a move before 6p (example: 5k, JI, 6p OR 5p, JI, 6p) or after 6p (6p 5s JI OR 6p, 5hs (JI or TK). I think TGS meant you can do 6p 5hs TK HCL FRC or 6p 5hs 8632146 (or any other motion as long as it has an UP in it and I-no doesn't actually jump) HCL FRC. >>Blade Even on pad, using I-no's j.p to stop incoming air attacks and dashes is smart, j.p j.p FB dive is great (two j.p's just to confirm it, you can combo off one of course), j.p j.s, jc j.hs (dive/note/HCL/FB) is fine too.

  11. Why are you so thick-headed? Blocking is safe, usually safer than guessing a way out. Sometimes you DO get stuck and block a lot, and your guard gauge DOES get jacked up, even if you're good. It is not always so simple as to instant block everything and backdash, or FD and push them out of range. I can think of A LOT of example matches where this has happened too, and it's not just a "rounding error". "Good players don't get their guard gauge built up"? Haha. 4:00!!!!!   12. Yes, it is very possible, even though I-no isn't as threatening without it. If you do combos like 6p, 5hs, you can do j.hs afterwards for a knockdown against SOME characters and cancel the j.hs into a fast note and move it onto their body as okizeme while you rush over there to pressure them. You can also do something like 6p, 5hs, j.s, j.hs, s dive, land, 5k, (j.p)j.s, (jc) j.hs k dive. I put those in parenthesis because you may or may not have to do them depending on the character. A really hard combo that doesn't use chemical love 6frc6, is 6p, 5hs, iad j.k, VCL, land, HCL. IIRC, it is a 2 frame link, which makes it pretty tough. p.s. in all honesty, due to the way her normals are, a lot of her tensionless combos require timing that is as hard, if not as hard as tk chemical love combos. don't give up though.
  13. I personally like Densetsu no Megane and Attsun for their creativity, and Yossan for his intelligence. I haven't seen any videos of U-zen where he wins, but he gets far enough to get into videos in the first place so he must be of some skill. And KO1(koichi) is just awesome in every sense of the word.
  14. I like Slash, because I feel that it came the closest to a 'balance' of sorts, but I enjoy AC more, even if I am less comfortable with it.
  15. Yeah, now I feel dumb for bringing it up just because I don't want to perpetuate it either. That is a good point about practicality. I'm sure Johnny would be a higher tier character if whenever he got 6k counter hits and 6hs counter hits, you did the appropriate huge damage setups/good 1 hit knockdowns, but often you can't visually confirm these in time to cancel the normal into the move you need, i.e. Killer Joker transport. Just like I-no can't hit confirm 2s into anything really, she just has to know what to do cos the cancel window is so small. If there are great combos with little to no way of knowing when to do them, what good are they? Characters like eddie have plenty of time during strings to see if something hits or not and follow up appropriately.
  16. Wow this thread is fucking drama. 1) It's basically what SPILL IT'S JUICE was saying earlier. Difficulty isn't really factored into where a character resides on the tier list, unless it comes to the point of imposssibility, which complicated characters don't even reach. Sol had an easy dust loop in #R and was still C tier, and Sol does ridiculous damage in AC but he is still suck between C/B whatever due to him being Sol and having the same problems he has always had. This has been discussed so many times already. 2) Clayton, uh neat stuff but if we're so ignorant, and it makes you so mad, why not do something about it other than complain? The setup looked pretty shitty cos it was 100% to setup some future hit that is not guaranteed? If Sol goes neutral at all, do you lose the stored sidewinder? Dunno...it might be game breaking maybe if sidewinder was safe on block and didn't need rc. 3) DI and 6hs with sol... It's stupid to say that they DON'T have a use at all, but doing DI is generally a stupid use and doing 6hs IS GENERALLY less beneficial than many of sol's other normals. I don't remember the last time I used 6hs except maybe as OTG to kill from far away or a random attack->grand viper... As far as Render's comment, that was totally in the right because it was doom that took the english comment the wrong way and overreacted. It was brought on himself by poking back at Spirit Juice's near perfect grammar. Just chill.
