I know I'm waaaaaaay late, but whatevz. Had to recover from going to bed at 5 AM and waking up at 9 D; FR shoutouuuuuts Milln/klein/papstr- soooooo many lulz. The trip there was nearly the best part (the best being munchkin, naturally). I think we all had an amazing time and I really hope that we get the opportunity to do something like this again when the opportunity presents itself. EDIT: Not losing every match in suguri to milln was pretty badass too. Tad/Phil- So great seeing you guys again! GG was amazing, and I can't wait to pick it up when it gets rereleased. Sorry about the fries, Tad! Astaroth- It's been a while xD. SCV looks legit, and my opinion about it really changed watching the tournament matches. It looks like a fun game and I wanna get into it (as soon as I buy it, that is...) Eshi- It was so cool of you to host us and let us eat your food and take up your living room for the weekend. thanks so much ;D About milln's concern about BB. I'll keep playing it simply because I have been for so long and like the game, regardless of turnouts. I don't think we should stop running it completely. Even if it were just a side tournament, that would be fine. Right now I'm more interested in learning other games, so I'm not focused on bb (or anything right now, really DX) Oh and right before I got home on Sunday, my car's motor fucked up, and i'm going to have to pay to get it rebuilt or something. That can't be the case. If at one point, a move didn't cross you up, but then did, you were not in the "exact same situation." Something about the second scenario had to have been different to at least some degree, otherwise it would have had the same result as the first scenario. Even if the difference is just an incredibly small, maybe unnoticable positioning issue, it couldn't have been the same. nooooo. NEW LOLICON ON THE BLOCK.

Blocking a cross-up in kof is the same as blocking one in any other game. If you block incorrectly, you get hit. There isn't a magical reason that would cause you to get hit if you plan on blocking the cross-up other than simply blocking wrong. I'm not calling you stupid lol. You're implying that you're getting crossed up when you shouldn't, when, truthfully, you just didn't actually block correctly.

Getting crossed up isn't exclusive to KOF. In every 2d fighter I've ever played, you can get crossed up. As far as eating 60% health, your opponent is going to have to sacrifice a lot of stock/meter to accomplish that, which can potentially put them in a disadvantageous position (IE, when milln was roflstomping me at kof, I landed a King combo that costed all my stock and half my meter that left me in a position that I couldn't bring back). There are several similar scenarios in BB. Say you get crossed up by tao's j.2b. If your even somewhat close to the corner, you're going to eat ~5k from an AB2 combo if tao has 50 meter by the time she gets to 6C.
