  1. Who can pick me up etc etc?
  2. Well yes, 5A is extremely short ranged, however it is also super fast, it's one of the fastest moves in the game. Throwing it out slightly farther away from your opponent where it will miss isn't a bad idea, because if it misses, you are almost completely safe due to how fast it is, but if your opponent tried to throw out a slower move for spacing, your 5A can hit him out of his extended hitbox. As far as PRESSURE goes, you want to be in your opponent's face to use it, but then again, you need to be in your opponent's face just to pressure with anything. Using 5C at a distance isn't pressure, it's "Spacing", which is another thing you need to be good with, just be careful about how you go about it, and don't get to predictable.
  3. The Carl matchup is more of a game of Chess, if you're just netplaying or playing casuals, then I tend to just try my best to dodge the Doll and get to Carl as fast as I can, however this is only one way to play the matchup, and it's not recommended to play like this too often. The actual "Chess" aspect of this matchup involves taking out Nirvana, and making sure you never get stuck between Carl and Nirvana. When you say "Optic Barrel is only so effective", you're correct as far as approach goes, but Optic Barrel's REAL use in this match is to hit Nirvana at a safe range. Throwing out Optic Barrel when Carl tries to activate Nirvana for any reason, is the best method of safely taking her out, OB does a pretty decent chunk of Nirvana's health bar, and once you take her out you can go on the offensive. If at any time Carl is the one that get's hit by Optic Barrel, then you can rush in and start your offense, be careful though, because if the Carl get's free from your pressure, you could find yourself Blocking the Doll, meaning it's sandwich time. So basically the real way to play this matchup is absolute patience, Drive is also decently effective against Carl's normals, 2D goes over a lot of them, however Nirvana likes to eat 2D alive, so be careful when throwing out Drives while sandwiched.
  4. 5A is a good pressure tool, if all you're doing is 5C > 3C then you're gonna get punished hard when you fight a good player.
  5. nope, you have to do the exact opposite, your opponent needs to be up decently high, and you need to be JUST close enough, if you're too close you'll cross under and the 236A will whiff, if you're too far away, 6D will just miss. to get the idea of what height they need to be at, just use 5A > 6A > 6C > 6D, that combo will always work, so just look at how high they are when the 6C part connects.
  6. Those are her important BnB combos. you can always not do the 6D part and go right into 236A, it only does 100-200 damage less usually, and it's much easier. as far as dash canceling goes, you need to make sure you finish the dash cancel before you 66C.
  7. Yeah I'll let that one slide. It's justified.
  8. I am just an optimist.
  9. NO PROTO I refuse to believe anyone can miss that.
  10. Tales of Graces F. God fuck how can you not catch on to that instantly?
  11. No, but if Shin doesn't upload the match soon, the Title Match will be null and void, and if you cash in, you immediately get to be one of the two players in the crowning match. However, you COULD get it for free, if you wait until Shin uploads the match(Assuming he does) and cash in your Title, and if the champion doesn't show up in a month, you just get handed the title for free, since you got your Title match a special way instead of just being one of the guys in the ranks. Normally though, when a Title is vacated, the top two guys in the ranking for that title will have to fight for it. Keep in mind it's already been a week since we "Crowned" the youtube Champion, I haven't been able to post the results yet since, the video isn't up.
  12. I thought you wanted to challenge me for my Title :333 Also, the current youtube title holder is never around anyways, plus the fact that Shin hasn't even uploaded the match yet, so if you wanted to trade PaperWeight for a chance at the Youtube Title, you may just get that shit for free assuming Shin doesn't upload the match any time soon.
  13. Well Del I was thinking about how to go about that, since if you are indeed ascending past the level of paperweight, and you currently have the title, then logic would state that an actual PaperWeight wouldn't be able to defeat you. So I was thinking, you can cash in your PaperWeight Title, for a chance at a different Title of your choosing, thus vacating your Title, and taking a step into a higher direction by being thrown into an automatic Title match for the higher level Title. This way, Dev and one of the new guys can be have a chance at Winning the PaperWeight Title, and you no longer have to be called a PaperWeight. Nigga.
  14. You're silly Del. That's our PaperWeight Champion.
  15. Yo Del, why did you leave the MI Skype group? I heard it was because Skye is no longer a double virgin.

  17. Eh, there does exist a haida, but it's Tager only, and it's not worth the trouble believe me.
  18. Next casuals: LunaKage Vs. BlakMaphia in a waifu match. First to 5 for the rights to Sophie. While it's true she is only imaginary, this battle has an irl consequence, because the winner will earn the right to play Sophie when we get together for Tales casuals.
  19. Why would Hex use 3C after a blocked 6B? *Shake my damn head*
  20. Well honestly you can follow up a spring raid with j.B after any drive string assuming your opponents aren't too high up when spring raid connects. for example: Stuff > d.6D > d.2D > SR > j.B will NOT connect. but: 5D > d.6A > d.6C > d.2D > SR > j.B WILL connect.
  21. j.B > double jump > j.B > j.236C. If you're going for basic shit, then it's best to leave spring raid combos alone, those are pretty advanced, it's pretty much just a better idea to use 236D instead.
  22. Because it doesn't work like that. Use: 5D > d.6A > d.6D > d.6C > d.623D
  23. Other Luna: There is no difference between 360 and PS3 Noel. The Haida loop you're trying to do just doesn't work anymore. Zorro: You're using d.6C twice in that combo (Forward+Circle) and you can't use any of her drive moves twice in the same combo, or else it makes the combo almost impossible to finish.
  24. Shoutouts to Courtney being the best Soul Calibur player in MI.
  25. You beat Mac by mixing in being silly as fuck with Solid Play. That's the best advice I can give you for fighting him.
