  1. Question, if any of you would be kind enough to answer it. Tsubaki's, at least for me, heat gain is incredibly low. Against a Bang earlier, we were both down to a sliver of health, I used no heat and yet I only had 65. Is there anyway to increase it? I know 6CC is pretty good for it. But it isn't practical for regular use...
  2. Hmm...I was afraid of that. Oh well. Thanks At least the ol' Spit Bug + Bell Bug wall is great against him. I could watch them try to jump over Bell Bug all day long.
  3. I suppose the most amount of damage does come from the beginning of the loop. Suppose that's what I get for trying to make Ara sound fair. There's also the risk of re-curse. As you've said, 50% is a fair chunk. And it's good fun at the end of a curse to airgrab a scrub and 100% recurse him. Good times.
  4. Because it's Tsubaki. Her Revolvers are based around hit stun, not speed, which makes them very easy to IB 360A, especially thanks to it's terrible range. Today, I got Atomic Collidered out of a 214C. I think I died a little inside.
  5. I believe it is. Which is annoying. Because at least the one where he zooms through the screen twice is pretty good. The other two types are poor. But hey, at least you can combo into Astral from a Wheel Loop as long as it's the good type of Astral. Not to mention that it's hilarious in CS. Arakune: GALAX HELIX *hits* Theme Plays.
  6. Except 236236A seems kinda pointless because your opponents will avoid it like the plague. Well. I suppose some characters will be forced to hit it. like Ragna.
  7. I have trouble getting out of Ragna's pressure in this matchup. Blocking is easy, but getting out is a completely different thing all together. If I jump back after a blockstring, I eat ID or 5D. If I backdash, I get a dashing 5B to the face and have to block the entire blockstring again. Forward dashing works, but if I do it too much, even Ragna's learn eventually. :P Any tips on how to escape Ragna?
  8. Haven't seen many good Makoto's yet, but this matchup really doesn't seem all that hard. Makoto has trouble getting to enemies, and who's one of the best characters and being evasive? j.B beats pretty much anything she's got as an Anti Air, and her options in the air seem quite poor. Summoning clouds, IAD j.B and 2D/6D 'keep away wall', should stop her from touching you. Even in the event that she gets close to her, her mixup seems quite poor and I've noticed you can use 5A/2A to counter a suprising number of her attacks.
  9. Is it me or does j.D do nothing against a Hazama that uses his chain? I've seen j.D come out from right below him but just goes right through. Since all forms of cursing sucks in this matchups, what with bell bug being chain killed, 2D and D leaving you open for a 3C or a chain and j.D being useless in general, clouds are my main source of cursing. But even that is hard to pull off against Hazama. If I'm at the other end of the screen, doing a small jump and then summoning a cloud generally keeps you in Hazama's blind spots and allows you to block fairly quickly after summoning the cloud. At the end of the day, Hazama loves predictabilty. Be as random as Arakune can be. 3C, Fake-Outs and careful moderation of clouds and curse bugs should net a win.
  10. Arakune still has bad normals, terrible mixup and awful pressure. Pre-Curse Arakune is still as bad or even worse than Rachel. Curse and it's loops are powerful. But you can block them. If he ends up getting you in a loop with 2 seconds on the bar left, well, it doesn't really matter, does it? That being said, he obviously is not B+ Tier no longer. I'd say he's A/A- Tier.
