Ya, I've been rapiding it on the first hit, however many times they'll land slightly too close to me and tech before the 6d connects.

Also, does anyone have any tips on landing j.236c>RC>6d? I think it'll likely be his best use of meter next to CA, but after trying it myself it seems pretty unstable.

Slightly more optimized AA damage combo: 6a CH, 5b3, 5c2, 6c2, 214a, falling j.b3, 5b3, 5c2, 6c2, 6a, j.b3, dj.b3, 236c. Does like 30-50 more than the 6c2>236a>j.c2 path and gains same heat. I also find it easier.

Basically this. We'll still have crazy +R to play if we want that. I have a feeling Xrd will be fine on the interesting gameplay front though. -
Ya, you see ground normal>rising/falling j.d a lot in Jiro's vids. It seems really good.

I think the idea behind not many bad matchups is that you can momentum people so hard if you get one good 6d setup or a good OD round that it can cover many disadvantages. Though I also imagine that 'bad matchups' in this case is stuff like 7-3 rather than 6-4. Then again Dora also had Amane at like high B tier in that madman cafe list he did a while back so who knows. Personally, I expect Litchi and Jin to be the worst matchups. Both have very strong pressure games and meterless defensive tools. They also likely beat all your tools once they get into 5b range and hit confirm into much more damage more often.

For Gekiren on pad, the best thing I've found is that when you get to the 2 part of motion, just tip your thumb towards 3. Seems to be the most consistent way of doing it for me. Man, relearning neutral is gonna be such a pain lol.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but if you ordered the Asian version on Play-asia they may have put your order on Hold status until you answer an email they send you. I guess the version was advertised as english text but is not and so they want to confirm if you still want the order. Just had this happen.

Ugh, is there some special way you need to confirm payments with play-asia? I paid way back in september and am still on preparing order. There is no button for confirm payment or anything, just one to make a payment but the transaction has already shown up in my bank history. Order page says my order has still not been paid yet. Def the last time I use this garbage service.

Kenshinoe color looking good. Actually I like a lot of her colors. Kagura's theme feels pretty GGish to me. Hopefully PA ships soon since I have thurs/fri off. Gonna need a lot of lab time for the 6 or so characters I want to try out lol.

For people worried about Play-asia and whether they are confirmed as having paid, if you click on the order number in your account screen, it has a message that says some banks show the hold as a deduction on your statement. So that would explain why some people see the charge on their statement while others do not. They also say that they will not charge until ship date. -
Would likely be more relevant to practice the tensionless corner HS Fuujin>nagiha>relaunch>hard KD if you wanted something stylish with a lot of in match usage. Unfortunately my laptop is gone but maybe I can ask Honnou if he still has the old AC Anji 22min video with the corner setup for every character. That said, if you can get On>IAD combos consistently then it does open up some options for eeking out extra damage off a fairly common occurrence, much like solo JI 5p combos. I do feel there are generally more integral things you can practice as far as execution goes, but if ya want to style every now and then, go for it.

I'd put Anji up there also as an Anji main. He doesn't seem that popular in Japan from videos and his playstyle isn't really unique or special. Then again I would have counted May out based on playstyle but they made her much more interesting imo in Xrd so who knows.
