IMO there will be a bunch of high tier characters and a grip of characters that won't be able to compete. If you haven't noticed almost everyone can turn their random hits into 30-50% life. IMO that is a bad thing, people that already had difficulties getting in STILL have difficulties getting in and that means they will die that much faster just trying to get in. May is obviously better but at the same time she still functions the same and still has her same problems. A lot of her hits don't lead to anything scary. Luckily she's a tension whore and can probably do something creative and win the match like you would normally x.x

yes post anti may strats that are already pretty bad :P IMHO sol typically out damages may through out the match and thats how he will win, and i would stay away from doing to many random HS' because it is easily footsied

I have a rule i follow with every character when i fight sol. - Every move is a volcanic viper! what does that mean? assume after every knock down sol will VV assume everytime sol gets close there will bea VV assume everytime he jumps in he will VV. So, now you have to figure out when can sol VV you Jumping in with VV is a pretty bad idea but it will work if you dont have your AAs straight. Remember that sol has to get pretty close to do a volcanic viper as long as you keep spamming k s, iad back sol will have huge difficulties getting in. Sol has problems with people that can zone, and may can zone quite well just keep him out and know the situation when he can VV you and will do a lot better. Oh yeah don't forget i played may and i know her inside and out... so i know where you can go XD

the dolphin tech time is pretty large so it doesn't matter what route you take. however, the falling frc is more viable because it will work more reliably in certain situations. Anji / Baiken corner Johnny .... i always stress learning the instant frc combo because it works alot better but.... the other is alot easier to land because you can pretty much go alright frc time!

Blocking will always be the first thing you should do on wake-up. If they are grounded back dashing is a good option. If they are in the air and depending on the character 6p/hoop are viable. It really depends on the character you are fighting against. suprised no one said wake up 3k. I block. very few characters have move that match mays poke range block till they are out and poke them back, besides if they get reckless with trying to keep pressure they will most likely iad at you and you winnnn

i have ended matches because i blocked a 3k.... be careful with it, once they become aware of how unsafe that move is your game is in jeoperdy if you spam it to much, anji can punish it for a good 30-40%

anji is pretttttttttttty bad he can trade pokes with you but his damage off a trade is 15-20% while yours is 2-3% (6k ch > may). thats why if you are playing the trading game trade big 2hs and 5hs ftw

well she has alot of unsafe but workable options against anyone above her, but it sounds rightish. it seems like they are just factoring in the "if you take to long to kill may youll get hit" theory.

im not a baiken player but you could try picking may and using 3k.... :P ok ok, on a serious note try getting in using a normal jump ( 669) and bait the 6p with dj.

the problem with playing pokey on zappa is if hes going to dash insummon like zand brought up, so i tend to use HS because its a better trade then a kick is. zone zone zone. (i realized my game play sounds the same for everyone?) oh except venom i zerg him with hs. oh yeah FD OHK can be pretty beast against him too.
