Tales, Vyers, would either of you be up for doing stuff this week? I'd like to pub it up before I get my face full of drills and I can't eat anything for awhile after.

\o/ So confirmed for moving away in about a year. On the topic of "because you don't feel like making your own meal every time", I don't plan on this being an every-casuals thing. I just want to try it once or twice (obviously not one session after another) and see how it goes.

Actually forget anything I said 'cause my grandfather is incredibly ill due to recent shit going down and... a lot of things to say, but I'm just going to hope for the best for now. Edit: Basically it was a false alarm this time, to my knowledge, and I can probably still go places for things for awhile longer.

The point is more of that it's extremely unhealthy instead of me not being able to handle it. My heart would sooner give out before I'd start feeling it in my stomach. I guess the idea would be better suited for more local stuff, since CT casuals aren't the only time people get together On one hand I should just save my complaints until I can drive myself down to casuals, but at that point I wouldn't be staying long in the first place. On the other hand, it isn't really an issue. It's just something that keeps me thinking about a career.

There would be the suggestion of making something beforehand and then heating it, but that'd still require going upstairs. Either way, it's a large inconvenience orz

Oh, so casuals is probably going to be forever for now, but I tossed around the idea that I (or anyone else who would like to volunteer to aid me) cook dinner instead of us going out to Denny's. I'm aware that it would break tradition, and that is weighing very heavily on my conscious. So is the fact that I still haven't digested that god-forsaken burger-thing yet.

Because this is basically how I started I completely agree with this. I highly recommend Zappa; he forces you to learn good spacing, hit confirms off of weird hits, and the fundamentals of a good mix-up game to be mildly effective. Sol and Ky are 'easy'/good for a starting character, I guess. I have no idea why I haven't seen either suggested. Sol rewards you for being offensive, has a good defensive option (teaches you the do's and don'ts about reversals), and has generally easy combos for mild-to-strong reward. Ky rewards you for good spacing/zoning (use of normals and abilities to keep the opponent away or to force them into a disadvantageous position), has an 'okay' reversal, solid normals, and a surprisingly deep mix-up game when you look further into the character. This is honestly the smartest idea, and you should really disregard everything else and follow this advice.

Time travel is confusing enough, anyway. Awesome concepts either way. Yeah, really. I would love to not have to ask, "Where is Guilty Gear?" But, y'know how it is... Jeremy, would you actually get upset about other people wanting a good fighting game to be featured more often, regardless of how old it is? I understand it's a fairly common response to almost any event posted, but what do you honestly expect?
