  1. You had his sig though. I just thought if you're him who forgot to change his sig. Right, right, I guess I'll take it back that she's in love. But I will not say she is an idiot for what she did, she had more stakes that "I AM SO IN LOVE AND I AM BLINDED BY IT!". But... I think we're over that already. You all hate Litchi and think of her as nothing more than a dumb broad. I get it. Back on that I'm not sure if Kokonoe is to be followed. We're going to need to confirm what Rachel said to her in the ending to see about the reversibility or not, because I'm not sure if I could take the words of someone too obsessed in killing Terumi herself to the point of abandonment of everything else is to be called 'source of wisdom that only morons will disobey'.
  2. Maybe I am the only one who thinks Litchi is not in love with Lotte. She considers her a friend and that's just how far she'd go for the sake of a friend. So put Carl, Tao or Bang in that situation, and she'd do the same, she just didn't do it to them because she felt like they had no life/existence-threatening problem. I think everyone is just exaggerating, though it's not an unfounded statement... I really am interested to see how she's like before even meeting Lotte. Maybe just so we get the impression that her life cycles more than just around Lotte. @Orihalcon: Are you Circuitous?
  3. You know there's one thing I wonder and I finally knew why Terumi and Relius brought in Litchi and her research of reversing seithr. Wasn't it said in Bang's Arcade End that the Kushinada Lynchpin's purpose is to eventually stop a huge amount of seithr and destroying them? I guess this is where Litchi's research came to play and I predict that after they're ready with the Lynchpin, they will have no more uses on her... Gah, thanks to Sourenga's channel being taken down I can't make exact stuffs like that. Anyway, speaking of Litchi, I think there's one thing that just bugs me and I hope CP will explain: How did she develop such a strong case of dedication to help people to the point she went through that kind of length for Lotte? Was it parents teaching? Or something horrible happened in her past before going to Sector Seven? ... Do they even care at all and would just point her as 'Oh, she's just born obsessed! Moving on!'....?
  4. I think it was made clear that Ragna was going after NOL because the NOL stored the Prime Field Devices and the Murakumos... and that just pissed him off. Terumi, I think, is being evil because... well it's within his nature. He's developed some sort of narcissistic ego that he thinks he's the most awesome being to ever embrace existence and his words has better be accepted at truth. He snaps when he finds out that the humans can find more truths than just despair like him, and refusing to adapt to that new truth, he decided to revamp the world to fit his own brand of truth, because he thinks he's that awesome and needs to have his entertainment served on a platter. While IMO, it's making him sound like a kid throwing a tantrum on the world because he didn't get his favorite toy. Well that's what I thought... EDIT: For the guy above... four IS NOT RIGHT OUT.
  5. I don't see Amane being Belladona, I think her hair isn't that blue. In fact I see him more like the Persona 3 Protagonist AKA Minato Arisato. Fitting, since they both have Akira Ishida as their Japanese voice
  6. I heard differently from my friend. She was just being lectured about something and then she broke down in tears. No words about distorted speech. Well I guess we're gonna have to see when her story's subbed.
  7. Oh I wonder about that. Didn't you read about her conditions that she really had no choice unless she wants to get blobified? Then again, her ending image seems to conform what you wished for, she blew it up and in tears on realization.
  8. She just entered NOL, if she immediately gets a rank, NOL's judgment about granting people ranks, even with the messing of Hazama and Relius... is in need of questioning. You don't enter an organization and immediately or at most after a month and a half to get some noteworthy rank. That's a basic management rule you find everyday. Either way, that's probably not mentioned in the Arcades, considering she's left to her own devices and problems and none of the NOL crews like Hazama, Relius or Tsubaki ever bothered to check her up or refer her with ranks or sorts. And I think she was so insignificant in Saya's eyes that Saya didn't even bother to make up bullshits to promote her the same way she did to Tsubaki. Also for a proof that Bang is already over his problems with Jin, Jin is nowhere to be seen in Bang's story. Also if you recall, in his ending, he has noticed from Trinity that Jin himself isn't the only one at fault, but the system in NOL is his real enemy. Still insisting to go over to Jin would end up making him look petty at this moment, it's a good thing Bang no longer did so.
  9. It's just prediction, but I think she might have served her purpose this way. I had a hunch that her Boundary research is what finally made Relius able to tune up the Kushinada Lynchpin to his and Hazama's tastes, and then for bonus sake, they find out about Bang's infatuation on her, then sends her to lure Bang into their trap. Needless to say, they succeeded. But then again, it's just prediction.
  10. I'm more or less thinking that she realizes that Relius is not going to release that cure and is gonna use it for a weapon of mass destruction, so the only way to retrieve it is to fight against Relius and snatch it from him before it's too late for her, thus squarely returning to the side that fights Hazama & co, leaving Team Douchebag. And that's if Rachel and Kokonoe allow her, because judging from Tager's story, Kokonoe is expectedly unforgiving. Since thus far, in CP, her story NEVER touched her Boundary corruption (and strangely lacking Arakune), I think its threat towards her body is going to be the focus on next game... But I'm satisfied if this game is for bringing her back to the side of good.
  11. Not in the sense of her total curing. However, along with Litchi's ending where she was driven to tears after possibly being revealed of the consequences of her actions, it could be a catalyst of her finally realizing the folly of her obsessive selfishness and decided to make amends by helping Bang recover it (because she probably figured that Relius will NOT use it for curing her). So in a sense, it could be saving her from her life of 'anti-villainy'.
  12. I don't know if the JBBS forum has this posted, but a friend of mine has watched Litchi's Arcade Story... and her final opponent is Rachel. Winning here counts as being beaten, Litchi is on her knees as Rachel lectured her about something, and even Kokonoe also joins in lecturing. But at the end, Litchi was left in tears, crying. My take: I would think that in conjunction with that bits of info with Relius, Bang and Rettenjou... I surmise that Litchi's research was used to help Relius modify the Rettenjou so it takes Hazama to activate the Day of Destruction with it. I think Rachel and Kokonoe was really giving the important bits and calling Litchi out to let her desire to save Arakune steer the world into destruction (or that she also fails to save Arakune now that he's even crazier despite saner speech pattern) and she's deeply regretting it. (I'm still hoping her return to the good side after this) Feel free to correct. P.S: Sub boss 1: Taokaka Sub boss 2: Bullet Sub boss 3: Bang As of Bang Sub boss 1: Arakune Sub boss 2: Azrael Sub boss 3: Litchi
  13. Okay, to each to his own. I try to be as polite as possible. But... hm, how do I say it most politely... Well let's just say I stand by on my opinion and think that the opinions of how 'Litchi is self destructive, obsessed, stupid, fool as that quoted guy said' is just pure bullshit and I will shatter every of that statement when I see one... even if it gets me banned. OT: I guess that's why Relius eyes on Bang so much these days.
  14. You said 'Reflecting her actions in CS is fine'? Uh... isn't that what we've been doing in these latest posts? With me supporting and sympathizing, and the majority of the rest thinking of how unsympathetic she is. Please, if there's something wrong in my definition of 'reflecting her actions', you can tell.
  15. No, you shouldn't be sorry. This is a STORY THREAD, we spoke of Litchi's potential of roles in-story, and just recently, scans about her from Famitsu are released. I don't see why that counts as a derail. (By all means, mods, if I sound like I'm being an ass to your standards, drop me the banhammer already)
  16. I am not quite offensive on Makoto's underboob, although there was a time I was mad that she looked like she stole Litchi's thunder of both 'fanservice queen' and 'pillar of morality'. Now... not so much, I guess. Maybe because it's the story that develops, and everyone have their place. That being said, I'll be honest that Bullet currently bores me amongst the newest cast (compared to Amane and Azrael), but that may change if her story is revealed to be more than "RAWR! REVENGE! DIE, KOKONOE, DIE!!" But the way it is, Litchi's quote about 'Can't judge the book by its cover' also held meaning that right now, the cliche is that 'Cute is good, sexy is evil'. Litchi very much defies that role, she's just as good even if her dress is provocative (not to mention, she wore that because she found it hard to find concealing clothes of her size) But I wish more people would see Litchi more than 'Self-destructively obsessed thus not deserving of praise'. Again, she's rebelling against her own fate to succumb to her corruption. If Ragna gets the praise for doing the same, I don't see why Litchi should be excluded, really. Just because she joins NOL doesn't mean she must be labelled as a 'moronic traitor that gets into trouble thanks to her stupidity thus undeserving of sympathy'. Truly, she gets miscredited a lot.
  17. I came back to Dustloop after years of absence, trying to make due with Litchi's situation, and voila, I see that time did little to change Dustloop's perspective about Litchi. In anything, you always view Litchi as the wrong side. But I find it wrong, really. I could really accept her being in NOL because of this one thing: Because she's dying and she needs cure. At this point, it's not solely about Arakune anymore, no matter how much she claims it to be. Her act here is a desperate act to preserve herself for not just saving Arakune, but eventually do so many good things that she would be capable of. Her corruption is eating her up and she realizes it, she needs the cure ASAP, not just for Arakune, but for HERSELF as well. And she has no time to waste: Kokonoe just flat out refused her and would only move her ass when it's already too late for her. She probably realizes on how much the people that do care about her will be in anguish if she perished. Unlike what everyone said, her corruption is something like an Alzheimer's... Leaving the problems alone will NOT fix the sickness, it doesn't cure itself. She needs the cure and since no one's willing to help, she had to take action herself. Her interaction with Carl can be interpreted as her having already been in NOL, therefore, it would mean that there's just some things she wouldn't throw away despite being obsessed. And despite how everyone said she's easy to be manipulated by Hazama, there's one thing that I have to stress out: She's highly suspicious at Hazama and is still keeping an eye of him, rather than just flat out worship and let herself be manipulated at raw. Selfish? Hardly. Actually what Tager suggested turn out to be the selfish thing, does that status of 'Good, Perfect Woman' THAT absolute that it needs to be defended at all costs and Litchi is a fool to sacrifice it for the greater good (and here I mean to say the cure of her own condition, not just Arakune). Her bad end also showed that obeying Arakune means resigning to a short life, when she could've taken big risk of staining her morality a bit, but if she succeeds, she came out with a better body, longer lifespan, and overall... better living. Tager, Kokonoe and the others are just taking things on the straws based on what they perceive as sickness, as a doctor, Litchi probably knew better. If you know your sickness has an Alzheimer-like effect, you will want the cure, even if your friend, who doesn't know that it's Alzheimer-ish, said "It's just flu. Leave it alone and you'll get better!" Overall, I hope you do understand that Litchi... still is the kindhearted person that really wished she could be with everyone she loved. Ragna is fighting to rebel against his fate rather than dying while doing nothing. What you probably missed out is that Litchi is exactly the same. She'd rather not succumb to her corruption and would rather rebel against that fate, even if everyone else got the wrong idea. Heh heh heh heh... Let me break it down to you: *She's selfish, pouty, stubborn, and as insincere as you can get without knowing it - As I said, if she tried to cultivate her 'Perfect Woman' image, that would be the selfish route. She asks nothing out of hugging Carl and consoling everyone she knew of, she is stubborn because she just refused to give up and die needlessly (Yes, dying in solitude as in the Bad End is a needless death, because she could've accomplished more than solely saving Arakune). So yes... *She DOES has an amazing body, but she's not waifu material because of her feelings of selfishness and guilt - Opinions, opinions. As said, I don't think her acts are selfish. And guilt is part of her flaws, and the one thing she had to work on, yes. But... well, regardless. She's STILL waifu material for me. Even if fanarts disagree. * She may be intelligent, but she's an absolute fool - As I said, she's no fool. She has guessed her conditions more right than how Kokonoe and Tager deducted them. They are no doctors, I'd trust a doctor's advice rather than a scientist's when it comes to health medicine. And as I said before, she didn't completely trust Hazama, but only sees it as the only way to go. You can go ahead and say other alternatives that Litchi could have, and I'll be sure to shoot it down to make it known that at this point her paths have dwindled to either "Join NOL" or "Die rotting" *She may be kind, but I sense it's more out of politeness or necessity. - Where did you come up with that? There are no proofs that she did something impolite or unnecessarily when it's behind everyone else's. Dark Litchi will never happen.
  18. All right... so someone told me you translated this, finally, so I came back for this one time again. Thanks very much, Zephyr. Okay, that's about it. Going out again soon before this gets even worse.
  19. Hm... can we use this thread for her story discussion?
  20. Perhaps, but I always hoped that it might shed some information about her true self, whether she's the kind woman, or the completely selfish woman some people here predicted her to be.
  21. Well, on other discussions on other board, they said she DID cure Lotte... but then Lotte dabbles in the Boundary again, and probably Kokonoe got sick of it and her policy becomes: "You want me to cure you? Then STOP DOING WHATEVER NAUGHTY THINGS YOU DO. FOREVER."
  22. Hm, there's this question constantly bugging me, but... Why do people say that in Litchi's bad end, Kokonoe is bound to fail to cure her despite her determination? I get the theory that she might succeed, judging to see how much a genius she is and what kind of determination she had on saving her... I mean, really, why would she FAIL?
  23. ... Though her story mode implies that she doesn't know a lot. Otherwise, why would her reactions towards Rachel imply more of "I'm out of options! This is the only way!" rather than "Shut up! I have my own plan, and I'll not let you interfere!" This sounds more like she completely gave up in other options... On Relius, I also get a theory that before he was a madman, he used to be a sane man, but somehow, he met Terumi, made a deal with the devil at cost of turning into a madman he is today in exchange of SOMETHING. But... I just can't make a assumption of what's his situation and what's his past deal.
  24. *sigh* The fate of those who favors characters not viewed as 'interesting' by public sure is hard. Suddenly I feel alone. Oh well.
  25. Perhaps it's only just me requesting, but... Perhaps a short story of Bang and/or Litchi would be a nice read...
