If you're talking about on the ground, it won't work since Valk qualifies as being airborne during [w]C dash. If he tries to command grab while he is dashing, it counts as an air grab. He has to land first if he wants to do command grab while you're grounded, which is arguably more projected than doing it straight out of dash.

Part of me feels like it might be better if arcsys didn't try to justify certain characters' continued existence whilst still letting them be playable characters in future installments. It's kind of shitty to justify an end to a certain character (mu for example) and then have to bullshit some reason to still include them into the game just because they're not done with the story yet.

I definitely know Dpad is hardly optimal cause i screw up inputs all the time especially half circles... This bites me int he ass a lot on lambda, I'm significantly worse at her reversal super's input when facing left than right which has cost me several matches :\ it loves to give me spike chaser instead which is agh!!! Being able to fiddle with your sticks would be great! I haven't done much research on the matter at all so a little hands on would be fantastic. @mig: as long as I know what to do, i can easily handle soldering, so don't write off any options or anything just based on that alone.

I use pad, but I feel kind of hindered by it at times For now I'm just sticking with what I'm able to do since I'm pretty green on BB/fighters in general at the moment, but I'd like to switch to stick sometime... I will go ahead and bring mine, so no worries! Lugging yours around AFest would probably be problematic anyhow :s
