I believe there were only 3 makoto players in the whole thing being recorded. The first mak was trash the 2nd was godlike. I couldn't watch up to Goro since I wasnt a premium member. All I know is you wont see any makotos in A block and will have to wait a while. The archive on nico got removed too so I cant post a timestamp for that unfortunately. -

I'll keep trying. It would be a nice against tager's 2d or something on block if you could get a combo off of it that goes over the dmg of the full super.

The real problem is what part of the body the character hits during the 2d. If its the tip u cant combo. When its lower down at the side of her arm it combos. Im still getting to grips with hitting that consistently. Bump to my previous question. Comboing off a raw pf cant combo off the 2d. Its easier when its done of shooting star or a back throw. But i cant do it from a raw hit :/

Im having trouble comboing of a RAW Pf midscreen. I cant get the 2c to juggle. I doubt delaying the pf drives would have have anything to do with it. Would it? I believe I've hit it once but i dunno how. Ive been tweaking the timings for an hour now :/

Just to add. The deeper you do it the better. If it hits as deep as the ground you will notice its air tight if you follow up with a,b or c. Been abusing this lately at random times on Tager. Once you train them to think you are gonna do stuff after 5cc or 6c it works a charm. And most of the time they think they can 360 you after LA lvl 3 on block. I think its a better option than 214a~d. Lol reminds me of cs1 and cs2 CS1: 5CC>slight delay> opponent thinks *dat overhead* CS2: 5CC>slight delay>opponent thinks *dat overhead...but dat 2C*>>>>tries to jump away and chicken block CSEX: 5CC>slight delay>opponent thinks*less overheads in EX....but dat 2C*>>>tries to jump away but eats 214a~c same thing for 214a~c~a/b followups. Ive noticed people brace themselves more for mars chopper and block high even though the real threat is mars chopper when you have meter. -

That will be the best thing to try it out. Different strokes for different folks. The only pro about that stick is that its light. But it just feels like a hollow chunk of plastic and the buttons feel... meh. And if you hit D as hard as I do. You wont be happy with it lol. -

Nice to know stargazer rc 5b is a frame trap. 214A~C~B>RC>5B>6A>6B Might have to get used then 214A~D RC fish vs 214C~D fish hmmmm Thats quite a tricky one. -

Ive made a habit of only ending my block strings with jump cancellable moves vs danger chars like Tager or Ragnas who know what theyre doing. Thats only if you wanna be 110% safe all the time to minimize any possibility of risk vs chars/people who like to backdash or jump away doing stuff like 2a x n stagger>2b>5b>delay>6c>214ac is handy. The 6c is a handy frame trap for mashers, ib mashers, people who may try to jump away expecting you to jump cancel your 5b. And the 214ac will end your string safely (except on ib) and lead to a combo if the 6C hits. Vs my friends lambda because they like to escape at any possible moment and backdash during the holes in the string. Then he will occasionally eat a spinning back fist 6C in return or a lunatic upper. Ending with 214C~D now and then isnt a bad idea either. Handy vs Tagers who are fishing for your 5cc so they can 360. I really love lunatic upper now. And now that mars chopper is safe and delayable. It makes the opponent more scared to press buttons. 214A~C> 2a 214A~C> 66 throw 214A~C>jump CC 214A~C> 66>jump CC I could go on forever. I feel rewarded as a Makoto player throughout the history of the series. We got given a cheap loop which meant we over-looked all her other moves. They took that away and we found out she was a brutal character without it. CS2 dropped and we just wanted to take niggaz to the corner and massacre them for free. Now CSEX has dropped, and we are forced appreciate the tools she has. Which are still good! And luckily shes not boring to play with.
