  1. hard chasedown with a dash seems to be the best option if you know he is going to backdash. Growler is not even that threatening Alternatively, you can opt to use an ikutachi but unless you are complete certain that the Azrael is going to backdash , this is pretty much YOLO option
  2. Try not teching his odd gimmick that sets you up for his airbuster reset. This way his airbuster will become "purple" and thus techable, then if he tries to airbuster you again you can mash him out with j.a or something fast because his airbuster has no invul
  3. Not sure if that always works because Azrael can simply mash 5a to anti-air Mu quite easily
  4. The problem of his 2c is not directly that it's a projectile but rather it does not have a large hurtbox , while Mu's dp is lacking range Just block his 2c, hiis overhead and low drive afterwards are not safe to mashing or can be jumped over. Don't try to backdash because those 2 slow drives will catch the backdash. He can try to use 3c, but it's -9 on block and can be just as easily jumped over
  5. On IB it's 3 frames less and depending on the distance that BHS still has to travel after 5c's pushback, Mu can sometimes manage to dp out of it
  6. His 2c is a projectile, not sure how that will help in our matchup If we are talking about 5c>BHS, I think you can stop BHS with a dp that you can input during the superflash or use your burst
  7. These 2 combo's in this video look rather interesting but don't seem practical https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znNcmcSGHNU&t=2m24s
  8. Common mistakes, after using 6c into habaya Noel could have used 3c or 2d (which that player did) or simply airdashed to punish it Throwing j.c and j.2c out alot should get you punished by her 6a or even 6c Just basics things that i avoid against noel players but since there were many mistakes made by both players i can't exactly highlight all of it
  9. Azrael's 6c beats Mu's 2b clean if it gets overused
  10. He can iad over 5c at the round start and punish you for it and i have sometimes see Mu's 5c lose to his 5c if you are a bit slow
  11. Saying pretty much the same thing as what i said in the Mu vs Izayoi matchup thread: There should be no real need to immediately rush down Izayoi , seeing that she is not dangerous without any zero weave stocks (even with stocks, she is imo at best a mild threat) . The way how you played, you tried to close in on her and that got you hit (and knocked down) and that gave her zero weave stocks. Be aware of Izayoi's 5b as it is fairly good against Mu, because it's faster and has a smaller hurtbox than our 5c and it outranges our 2b. Jumping in on Izayoi should get you hit by her pseudo dp's Mu is perfectly able to keep her away with steins and habaya and Izayoi will have to take risks to get in on you instead of doing the opposite edit: i noticed lot's of missed confirms and misplaced normals (like using too much 5c while Izayoi was jumping or using 6a too early while Izayoi was in the air) If i have to be honest, you have to work more on your neutral
  12. I think malaka was talking about doing an arial dp ender by extending the corner combo loop, trading off slightly more damage for no oki. Which is imo a very non optimal combo, because the charged laser version does more damage and it gives an oki
  13. It's in the combo index
  14. H.H.'s combo route should be easier if you can't use the s.j.2c yet
  15. Pretty much known for almost 2 years
  16. So that means that the followup will stiff whiff a crouching person?
  17. Based on that video Ikutachi seems to be almost the same to me and her backdash change does not seem that big
  18. It somewhat worked for Mu because Mu had the threat of hitting you with j.c or any ground c normals as well. However Kokonoe's j.2c is faster than Mu's j.2c
  19. Also Negative Penalty seems to be slightly negated if you microdash forward and place any stein (usually 6d or 2d ) because that actually counts as an attack , combine that with a jump cancel on the stein and you can still go nuts with steins This nerf won't hit me that hard
  20. The only 2 EU Valk players that i see in netplay are either NeoBalrog or Kiba (BlackJaguarXD). NeoBalrog usually shows up later in the evening though AshSavior(UK) subs ValkenHayn but he is not as good as the 2 that i mentioned and he rather seems to play Kokonoe or Azrael
  21. A minor correction: Noel's 4d beats Mu's dp but not directly because both attacks clash with eachother but not as an attack but as a projectile (meaning Mu cannot reclash her dp and she can't even RC her dp as well). You won't score a hit with 4D but you can still whiff cancel any other drive attack and that will hit Mu while she is recovering from her dp. So punish Mu with the more damaging starter after that
  22. It is but her dp was pretty fraudulent because it could beat many safe jump setups and other setups like some of Carl's UB gimmicks
  23. "空中Dミラージュスラスターに派生可能に" Dunno, maybe she will teleport behind an opponent after the projectile hits? edit: wait a moment... couldn't izayoi already do that ?
  24. Double post: My guess is that Mu's new backdash distance will be probably closer to Jin's or Rachel's after the patch because it says "slightly lowered". If that is the case then i don't think it's a big nerf because the duration has become 3 frames less, making it frame wise similar to Jin's
