Habaya was already a lvl 1 projectile, lowering it's level/priority even more would mean projectile wise that it would be as horrible as Platinum's Dream sally O_o Something that i doubt seeing that habaya can cancel Bullet's KoF style ground fireball when she is not "charged" (edit: her fireball seems to increase in projectile level, speed and distance the more she is "heated up")
-
Either hakumen was too slow with his 3c or mu's 6b is not that bad minus on block http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4JjRhkNwjk&t=46s
-
edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r1fiTslpLs&feature=youtu.be&t=12m28s when i made this post Spike chaser and habaya seem to go through each other , but in extend habaya stopped it. Habaya probably went through because of the sheer amount of hits it has. Edit: a possible different explanation is that each spike is a seperate hit in CP instead of that spike chaser was one hit in extend
-
Come to think of it, what level projectile is Mu's 6c? Because some of Nu's projectiles (like spike chaser, because habaya does not cancel it anymore) have been boosted up to level 2 in CP.
-
The stein set after Ikutachi on hit is jump cancellable (i think), because otherwise how else do people use a backwards airdash and j.c to combo from it?
-
Ikutachi is stein cancellable. Well atleast on hit, but can you do that on block? If so, then this move might be slightly safer than expected (but i don't think so because i haven't seen anyone do it)
-
That guy mashes just j.d , 2d ,4d and an occasional 3c with noel. He is pretty easy with Mu though.
-
Wait, what do you mean with jump install (i don't recall BB having them)? As in jump cancel? If so, her 6b doesn't allow you to do that because it can only cancel into steins and 6c
-
The recovery on even an arial/TK habaya looks for me slower in CP than extend, so i am not sure if it's even that good. Her 6b is less safe and looks pretty punishable if instant blocked edit: i am pretty sure Cor mentioned somewhere before that some moves can punish her even with the stein cancel and a jump cancel edit: found it
-
No idea what to say to Kravael who became so predictable with noel's assault through that he got astralled during it.
-
Damage wise it's a much alternative than ikutachi due to it's better p2 (plus it prorates only once regardless if it hits 1 or 4 times in CP), but it's probably harder to do something with it uncharged. I don't think we know how much charge time it takes to increase the hits of it and how many levels it has.
-
I don't think that is enough to beat Mu. We have Noel who *turns into a godslaying sword*(she actually has an alter ego with some nice cosplay to boot) and who claims to have the power to destroy the world (in extend), and also says things like "this is the power of the god slayer" (in CP) plus all of her moves are named after things from the japanese mythology
-
Actually i think she is less of a auto pilot character because of her zoning tools have drastically changed and has become more an agressive rushdown character with some zoning tools as backup. But i am drifting too much away fom the original topic, so i will be only talking about Mu if Azreal is also involved :p
-
Mu is very chuuni, more than Azreal :p
-
She only seems to have lower damage because people tend to use her new kick special Ikutachi in her combo's quite early due to it's easy usage, but at the same time it lowers her damage due to it's low p2 of 82. As such, like Azreal i am guessing that her damage potential will be higher if more stuff are discovered , but still her damage might be overall lowered compared to extend because of her 6c nerf in CP.
-
Double post, seeing that it's a different issue and i think it will get unnoticed if people only look at new posts in a thread. Has the lack of seeing any combo's with habakiri cancel to do with the lowered maximum range of 6c or is it because of a different change? edit: I am asking this because 6c and ikutachi have a poor p2 and by using them both in a single combo early on it will lower her maximum damage.
-
I meant those examples without putting someone in the corner and without spending meter. Don't you need to spend meter to get that damage in the corner?
-
I am not sure if anyone can top Mu's situational damage in extend, seeing that she gets almost 4k damage from anti-airs and around 3-4k from air to air hits, 3k+ corner damage with weak starters, 5k with decent starters in the corner and way over 6k damage from a 6c FC in the corner and all without spending meter. But Azreal does have comparable high damage , because the overall combo damage is lowered for most of the older characters in CP
-
With that explanation it makes sense to me to use j.2c more often in CP, now that you can combo from it easier with the reduced "momentum inhibition" and recovery, plus the added advantage of a 3k+ damage combo with ikutachi. When used in extend, there was a good chance that you could not combo from it on hit on a crouching or standing opponent (unless it was a FC) if you were even slightly too high, because of the recovery. edit: i miss the j.2c from cs1 that makes the opponent bounce on hit.
-
Keba really likes to use j.2c alot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVtub47yVBk&list=UUJC5rXAfIrTMuoBY3qJjBdA&index=1 Aside that the reward on hit is higher since you can combo from it longer than extend because of ikutachi, it's normally a move that i don't throw out alot randomly because of it's fairly long startup and recovery (with the exception against people who like to mash their lows alot instead of their anti-airs, something that i see in netplay). Does j.2c have some kind of other change that we don't know, because i can't imagine Keba would "abuse" this move so much against even characters like arakune
-
gg's to everyone that i played today minus flynn-cruxis for being one of the heaviest mashers that i have ever seen. (that's why i love frame traps)

Is there a good reason for not using 2b after a furu no Tsurugi in the corner in CP if the "usual" 5c does not reach ? In many videos like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaCvV5Cw8Qg&t=9m33s I have seen quite some corner combo's missed/dropped due to a poorly spaced 5c after Tsurugi. I know it's probably less damaging or less optimized using 2b but even so, it's probably better than missing out on a corner combo
-
Probably because Mu's oki has changed due to various nerfs/buffs. Oh well, atleast i am pleased to see that Mu has become less rare in japanese tournaments in CP (unlike extend)
-
I saw it being used practically every time as a combo ender >_>
-
Mu's 5b still has a horrible low hitbox, seeing that Tao's 2b can still slide under it in CP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96AqWzw9-MA&feature=youtu.be&t=487s So i guess that Mu's counterassault probably has a better hitbox than her 5b
