  2. not all chars lost jump cancel on 5b. tsubaki still has that. but a lot did lose it. and most characters can't 5b>6a>5b like makoto can.
  3. nothing is worse, that is tsubaki.
  4. i figured I probably won't get around to playing all of them, the pace at which they come out with these games is staggering, so I'd just start with this one. then the next one is out in.. 3 days. it seemed like a decent place to start
  5. ok, so I ordered atelier ayesha from play-asia. I checked nin nin and amiami, but both weren't meant to be. other stuff will have to come after, I guess.

  7. it's full invuln, and it lasts for 16 frames. so you might understand why I say it won't happen that often. Because for you to land a 5b means you're 25 frames till your strike. It will work, but 25 frames is slow. Like I said, when the tsubaki player I played against used it, it was basically just a reset of the oki situation. after OD ended, he decided whether to block or risk mashing DP. it would be a different story if I did a meaty overhead. But even that, you might not be able to punish with a good starter like 5b.
  8. I mean like Tales, but not tales. I enjoyed graces enough even though the story/characters were so boring and bland. Like those Atelier games, are those any good.

  11. I play Tsubaki and Makoto. I play Makoto more lately, but also lately getting pissed at shit and picking tsubaki again some.
  12. I'm thinking kishuu. and it's hard to separate neutral from lambda's offense. so things like shippuu also. Plus once you've gotten into range, I don't think you're at a disadvantage. keep in mind that the only time Makoto is at an advantage is after she's made lambda block something, basically. Makoto's jabs are faster, but they have less range, theyre lower level. if Makoto trades hits, she's at a disadvantage. it's necessary to get lambda into the corner to have any chance of winning, which can require a string of correct guesses. not that I've played Hakumen. Toan can probably answer better.
  13. GGs to Toan. lambda god of psn. Starting to hate tao more than lambda though.

  15. tao on the other hand feels equally terrible on makoto and tsubaki.
  16. tsubaki's 214d is really not good and requires charge. charging against lambda sucks. Makoto has: 3c, which is good for things besides spike chaser Parry j2c and JD for delaying landing Damage without needing to charge A higher jump which lets her normal jump over spikechaser easier BBS I definitely think this matchup sucks but she has way more tools than tsubaki to use in it. On the other hand the makoto vs noel matchup is total ass and the tsubaki vs noel one is a lot better.
  17. Makoto has some options. Better than tsubaki's anyway.
  18. tsubaki vs lambda is worse than makoto vs lambda.
  19. infinite rush can be kind of annoying online. Next level down from 5d to end combos is the matches where you can't 5d(3) properly because of lag... don't get me started on PF(3/3/3) online...
