if you press a button with her you're using broken stuff.
-
we're cool Kiba.
-
surfs gone off the deep end. he's right about one thing tho you suck
-
well i am disappointed that someone finally found my combo route.
-
I know your pain. I still lose with my rachel to characters/people I beat with fucking tsubaki. I can't even really do combos with her anymore, haven't played srs in 2 months.

I think people don't like to play against kokonoe, and possibly having to is likely to reduce attendance to whatever events there are. I see enough japanese people on my twitter that refuse to play against her. I've seen N-O say he 100% doesn't want to play rachel: kokonoe in a gods garden final, and talking about picking her up. BB really isn't a game where you just change chars willy nilly. It takes a lot of work. If you have to pick up another character or quit/not go, plenty will quit/not go. That's all.

by definition, something that doesn't frame trap a 5 frame jab on IB might frame trap a six frame jab on IB.
-
sounds like the tsubaki matchup
-
what's it matter, you can just 2d or 6d her out of it right?
-
i only get 2k and oki midscreen off a 2a! rachel corner: 1700 and oki tsubaki midscreen 1600 no oki tsubaki corner 1700 oki give me some of that below average damage, please

I could bring one, just in case we need it. No sound on mine though so it's better as a backup.
-
I'll be out then.
-
Yeah. Relius hella easy. Not that many mu's either so yeah. still, in general, it's true. yeah, carl is hard and he's a snotty little brat too. rachel is hard but she's lovable.
-
there's nothing poor about it. he's hard to play. there's a general theme on that list, easy to hard. GGs to those i played. Sorry for teaching you things like 'mash 5a out of rachel pressure' etc. Almost entirely. I can play her a bit, but I spend almost no time touching her so it's pretty sad. though I can still often do better with her than rachel.

WNB is hosted by tierless heroes at a champps americana in raleigh. Unless someone here posts something about going to WNB for BB though I wouldn't really expect anyone to be there for BB.
-
TBH friday was a really nasty day that i wouldn't have wanted to go out on anyway.
-
wait, what were you doing when we played if not that
-
back to wnb?
-
rather see her 6a lose head invuln when charged, and go invuln after 7f instead of 4f (WTF???), and lose the hitbox behind her (dat knee).

Not really true. Litchi wasn't mediocre in CS2 and not in EX. Bang and Jin didn't go to the bottom of their games, although the contrast is pretty large (and jin has a large population to whine, same as ragna). Ragna is still quite good in CP, and Hakumen is still S in CP, no matter how you want to justify it... CT to CS is whatever, it was the very first game. There's many more examples of chars staying consistent, even including top tiers who you'd think should get nerfed, or bottom tiers who you'd think should get buffed.

Unlikely to make it.

It's because they don't balance their games, IMO. They make a new game. They try to make sure each character has satisfying gameplay. Try to change characters up so people are doing new things so they don't lose interest Some balancing internally Release the game and repeat. They do pretty good for balance on day 1. But they never move past day 1. They just make a new game. also, I don't think S -> C is prevalent really in BB. You saw that from CT to CS, and for Makoto.. but really tier standings are pretty consistent in this series. So you're safe picking valkenhayn or hazama, and if you play tsubaki or makoto, don't hold your breath waiting to be S or even A..... and just pick a good character. Also I have already played this game more than enough for the price. I'd like to have a patch too, but we just don't know if that will happen...

there's an issue with BB in that the learning curve for characters is pretty steep, and that this is just a console character So probably most of the effects you would think of happening due to kokonoe being fucked up are gonna be lessened. - people are reluctant to drop characters they've played for years - people are reluctant to drop characters because hopefully the next version will be sooner rather than later (console), and the obviously beta character will be fixed - takes work even if you switch I think people know that kokonoe is that broken, but I don't know how many people honestly play this game to be really competitive in tournaments. Or try to win evo. So, yeah, powerwise, I think she's bannable, but also think there really isn't a need to ban her either. There will probably just be a lot of saltiness all around until the next version of the game, and the scene will suffer as a result but I don't see a good resolution anyway.

taking a break really does help sometimes. I find some things just take time, things I have some trouble doing then when I try to do them again, it's no problem.
