  1. Yeah. I am mostly playing Rachel now. Requires dedication, can't just play a bit.
  2. if anyone wants to go out to WNB this week lemme know.
  3. tsubaki vs izayoi feels easy to me. because it's easier to get charge in neutral and keep her from orbs than vice versa. but if you let her get orbs it'll be hard.
  4. bullet is certainly the king of easy though. and makoto plays similar in some ways to tsubaki and is hella easy this time (with none of the combo difficulty/instability and with auto-confirm/pilot blockstrings). but probably either has the problem of having trouble going too far because despite being easy they just aren't that good. Probably worse with Makoto. but if you wanted easier there's a bunch of easy or relatively easy characters that are actually good too. Jin, Hakumen, Azrael, Ragna, Mu... I went the other way with Rachel who is much too hard but also great though I've usually heard that Relius is not too hard too, TBH. Just no DP, but he still has overall good defensive options.
  5. tsubaki is a lot weaker than Relius, and ease is only that at the beginner level things are easy to do. Her neutral is pretty weak and all the best combos are varieties of character specificness and difficult timing. normal followups like 5b to 5bb or 2c to 2cc cause problems in neutral and make hitconfirming harder. poor range / poor followups on stuff like 5b, weak to every characters low profiling while having none of that herself. rushdown character with the worst mixup among rushdown characters (13f low, 26f overhead, can never use without risking simple mash, get hit by Mu 5C or ragna 2C because people screw up DPs it's that slow). lots of issues.
  6. this is total jokes, lol.
  7. you always do something with terrible risk:reward. even when if you block like one attack and then do it it becomes a lot less risky
  8. i actually just lost mashing all buttons because I could astral, thinking it meant I had a burst
  9. don't worry, when we played he was just like.. uhh we've played some games, last? keeping track is too annoying anyway. lol.
  10. you haven't seen my... still day 1 rachel. sigh. Can play sometime.
  11. 100+ games?? Damn! *plays rachel*
  12. yeah, not blocking or getting hit by her stuff in neutral is important ok that's true of every matchup I guess, but the answer is a good amount of jumping against izayoi I believe.
  13. Since CP. Very strong if he would learn combos.
  14. which is why your izayoi is amazing and your nu isn't. think if you put the legwork in on izayoi.
  15. I don't think your nu is as good as your izayoi.
  16. i don't even play tsubaki rachel 4 life
  17. it's good to know, you can use it to guess your way out. It's very far from being an effective way out though. as has been said, he's S for a reason, if there was an easy way out he wouldn't be. You'd see japanese players doing it. not to mention w5C>w5C>w5C>w5C
  18. what are you doing currently? you play hazama jin izayoi and tsubaki now?
  19. what are those heads in your sig limey
  20. anyone heard anything about AA?
  21. this is what I meant
  22. Which one? Fool me once, shame on me, Fool me , you can't get fooled again. I gave you your answer, I know you don't like it, but thems the breaks.
  23. the short of it is that character makes a difference in whether you can win in this game
  24. I'm looking out for you as another Rachel player. You'll need a stick to play Rachel. Sticks go missing at NEC. All the time. It's good business for the sponsors. Then what are you going to do? Play Rachel on Pad? No, you'll go back to Kagura. Stay away from NEC I warned you
