Well, it's not hard to "faster than Hazama if you don't count Ouroboros". Maybe that's what he meant. :P Also, I swear when he said that Izayoi was supposed to be easy to use, he was trolling. This would be awesome, and also makes more sense than the "3 girls" being Platinum, since isn't one of her 'souls' a boy?

I don't. But I hate 6 man rooms because I'm not going to get better by losing once and then spectating for 4 matches. :P Super unhype for 8 man lobbies, since that'll mean all the clowns who think "Yeah, let's just make the room as big as I can" will be doing 8 man rooms now. x.x

Good games to...uh... people I fought in the last 36 hours. There've been lots of you.
-
And more importantly, how do we watch?
-
*cough What makes you think that the like...3rd most powerful character in the game from a story perspective "can't fight"?
-
It's a somewhat bigger deal in CP, where you basically lose the ability to air block.
-
It looks like a spatula to me. Rachel Nendroid is totally adorable, yes.

Dunno why people kept expecting it to be summer when they kept dragging their feet on announcing a date; At this point, I was pretty much expecting sometime in the fall. As for lack of 360 announcement, meh, they've only announced the Japan console release. It still doesn't mean much from a global perspective.

I don't remember the name either, it's all just a blur! So many people in my room. Good games to Crisis, Darkranger (HE PLAYS MAKOTO!) and ThunderboltZ28 (I think you are trolling me. :P ) Poor sad, barely even good as combo dummy games to I Owner L. At least I won a round against your Tao ONCE. -_-

Saying "You can just mash 5A out of <blah>" is ANOTHER one of those things that is basically true of EVERY character in the game. x.x You can mash 5A and beat Litchi's overheads too, but that doesn't make them "bad". The shortsightedness in this thread hurts my brain. Everyone in BB needs to establish a certain level of respect before they can do mixup. That's just how the game works. Fortunately, it's also easy for every character in the game to punish people who blatantly disrespect them - certainly, Noel has an easy time doing this. Also, people need to differentiate between "mixup" and "pressure"; Mu's lasers and stuff are useless as "mixup" because they all hit mid. Technically, I guess you could try to cross someone up while they were being hit by this stuff, but that's a pretty fringe case. What Mu's lasers and stuff are excellent for is -pressure- - i.e. keeping the opponent from being able to do things like mash or jump out. The two concepts are complementary, but are not the same. Pressure is the ability to make someone block. Mixup is how easy it is to hit them once they are blocking.
-
Because Mu has no equivalent for Noel's drive pressure, Muzzle Flitter or j.4D? Mu's pressure is better if she uses lasers, but her mixup isn't particularly fierce. j.2C is still a tool that shouldn't be forgetten, however.
-
You really need to play some other characters. Almost all air attacks can be stopped by a well timed 5A for the characters who can use their 5A for anti-air.
-
Something else people are forgetting about Mu is her ability to do j.C (Or j.B apparently?) > j.2C (or just j.2C in general because of the weird way it makes her pause in the air) to catch people lowblocking after blocking the first attack. And while j.C isn't a great air to ground, j.B is okay.

Nevermind. Believe what you want.

I like to PRETEND that ASW thinks about what a property could POSSIBLY be for before they put it on a move. Objectively, I know this is a lie based on how they've dealt with Tsubaki in the past, but allow me my little illusions. :P
-
True of everyone. Working as intended. Not really. Character/5A/2A Bang/6/8 Mu/6/7 Carl/6/6 Tao/7/6 And Mu's 2B is stupid fast at 8 frames.
-
Yay! Now you are double awesome. Have a happy cat! Now we can start wildly speculating about how we are ever supposed to use the projectile guardpoint on the 22X series. @_@

Which of Mu's normals is "slow" exactly? And uh... EVERYONE in this game (Except, apparently, Hazama, who is a cheater) has normals that are unsafe and need to be cancelled into something. It's how the game works. I'm tired of seeing people use that as "My character's weakness is that his/her normals are minus on block!" Also, I don't think a character with a DP as good as Mu's is allowed to list "has trouble with people who get in her face" as some sort of unique disadvantage. Talk to Valk or Bang or Tao or Carl or something about "trouble with people who get in your face".

That's what I did. (Well, okay, into OpenOffice Calc); There are no column delimeters in your post, so there's no way to break it into colums except by using spaces as the delimeter, which goes all kinds of crazy for stuff like "250 x 6" or "214B F".
-
That info is actually on the wiki! Check the Hitstun Decay section here Edit: Though bizarrely, we seem to have changed the chart from Slow/Normal/Fast/Momentary to Long/Normal/Short/Very Short, which doesn't line up with the abbreviations used in the frame data at all. x.x

I think the issue people are taking is that it's not a 5-5 if Ragna does 50 more damage off the same hits as his opponent. Seriously. Few characters in Extend can match his damage output off random hits. Also, please stop trying to use "can't argue with facts" in any discussion relating to matchups, because there really are no 'facts' in there, only a huge variety of opinions. Litchi's options are nowhere near as good as Ragna's; Her DP is even only available to her if she's carrying her staff, and itsuu guardpoint doesn't even start until frame 7. Lastly, I feel some of your other assessments regarding Ragna's normals are faulty, but I don't think this is the place for the discussion.
-
So have ANY moves been found for ANYONE that are an "S" level starter? Also, man, I appreciate the data, but the lack of column delimiters destroys my ability to do anything much with. x.x I guess I'll just wait. Keep up the good work!

I pretty much said that in my super long post! :P Yes, but you can save your first round burst AND still not be put in this situation by: A) Winning round 2 and only using one burst, thereby leaving you with one for round 3, whereas if you'd spent one in round 1 and still lost, well... B) Using one of your bursts as a gold burst instead of a green burst. Wakeup goldburst is almost as good as a green burst defensively, and can swing the match just as much. -
Not to nitpick but WTF is this? What defensive options do you WANT? You have the best DP in the game, as well as all the usual tools like counter assaults. Who has better "defensive options" than Ragna? Really? P.S. I will laugh if you say "Hakumen".

Wasn't "Canada Burst" when you burst waaaay the heck up at the top of the screen? :P
