  1. Buh. Yeah. My bad on that. So basically they have the time to hit the ground, plus the time it takes them to tech.

Well, they're still in the air when you recover, and then they have to land, and they can't emergency tech (I don't think), so they have to do some other tech option, all of which take at least 20 frames, 30 if they don't quick tech... Pretty much anything that knocks down and doesn't allow emergency techs gives you a ton of frame advantage, things that do it in the air, even more.
  3. Based on your own numbers about how absurdly plus you are after 214A (+51?!) even WITHOUT cancelling the recovery into another move, and the fact that 22B is only like 47 frames long total, I think you can see why this would not be true.

  6. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to do against Rachel if she likes to neutral tech with wind? (Sends her sortof in this flipping forwards motion and she's invulnerable the whole time). Do I just have to master hitting her meaty as she lands?

  8. Sorry; That wasn't supposed to sound as sarcastic as it might have sounded. Basically what Errol is saying though, is that if the game is a long ways out, we're going to need to wait longer for news because they're not going to announce a "deadline" 6 months in advance because, you know. Schedules change and delays happen, so it's better for them to make the announcement, say, two months in advance. So the further off the game is, the longer we wait for news. Therefore, the longer we end up waiting for news...

  10. Well, I guess Japan thinks Tsubaki is decent this time out, since there are WAY more people playing her than there were in Extend.

Still hoping that someone can find a better command grab -> Rapid cancel combo than the one currently in the combo thread (which is like 75 heat for 3.2k x.x), because otherwise, I'm going to continue to feel the hurt of losing the unblockable. =/ As is, the command grab is good for annoying your opponent into trying to jump out so that you can get a crummy like 2.5k combo (1.8k if you have no charge) and... uh... yeah. WTB, a revision of this character that's not two steps forwards, one step back when we started three steps behind. :P

  14. We hate you forever for not putting the thing that you organize for our benefit out of the goodness of your heart ahead of the stuff that's actually happening in your life. And stuff. I think I'm game for either day anyway.
  15. And it only goes in one direction! CS2 Tsubaki was almost balanced to Hazama's level in a couple of ways (lots of plus on block moves) but then they apparently decided that was bad? I dunno.
  16. I pretty much don't try to 22D Hazama once he has 50 heat. It's too easy for people to react to and do a wakeup Jayoku. I'll just jump barrier to bait that stuff in the future.
  17. Quick wakeup still messes me up something fierce. I need to get into the habit of doing 2B instead of 5B meaty all the time. Though one of those rounds I was actually LOOKING for Houtenjin on wakeup and learned to my peril that IAD back won't avoid it. x.x Plus, I lose to gimmicks all the time because A) I promise, I've never seen it and B) It always takes me at least 4 times getting hit by it to go "Oh, maybe I should <thing that beats gimmick>" :P I've been playing like crap for two days. It's time for another break. Fear it and it's 800 damage! It shall smite you even though you are WAAAAY the hell up in the air. :P Edit: Also GGs to Skeletal Minion. Sorry I was so bad. -_-
  18. No no. I mean, if they zoom over your head with a chain, and your options are "run towards where they will land" and "236C forward" sometimes the latter is the better choice due to speed. The objective isn't to hit them, just to be where they don't expect you to be.
  19. About all I can think of is keep track of their air options and their chain followup uses and try to be there when they land. It's not easy, but it's the only thing I've been able to come up with. Sometimes you can use 236C to cross the screen faster than they expect.
  20. Heh. Well, I'm not suggesting running away if you have pressure going on anyway, but its an easy way to win neutral.
  21. No, it just happens to be the smart way to play the matchup; Why guess when you can just play it safe?
  22. I can "estimate" a price too, but until Sony announces something, we're all just making educated guesses, whether we work for a newspaper or whether we're just alert hobbyists. :P
  23. Source? Everywhere I've looked says the price is as-yet-unrevealed.
