  1. I think Roll has a decent chance of making it. She's been in the MvC1, 2 and TvC. I don't see why she wouldn't make it in.
  2. I honestly would like to see She-Hulk and Spider-Woman in the game. There's plenty of differences between She-Hulk and Hulk to justify adding her to game. She much more grounded than her more famous cousin. I can see a R. Mika-esque gameplay work for her rather well. Spider-Woman is a different beast all together. Out of all four Spider-Women (yes, their was four) only one had a connection to Spider-Man so using him as a strike against her won't fly. Also Spider-Woman has a completely different set of powers and is more of an spy hero. She would be an interesting addition. 1. Capcom has announced most of their characters during conventions and conferences like PAX, Comic-Con and TGS. Capcom is set to present MvC3 at the London MCM Expo on the 29th-31st. No word if Capcom will reveal more characters at the event. 2. Game is set for a spring release. Retailers like Amazon lists a April release
  3. Game is suppose to have 40+ characters. Exactly number is unknown. Roster leak? Take it for a gain of salt until Capcom or Marvel confirms
  4. Game having DLC hasn't been set in stone to my knowledge. If it does have DLC I resume it will be in the same vein as SFIV and just being extra character costumes
  5. Shows how much you know. Ono was never the director for SF4. He's the game's producer. He became producer of Capcom Fighting Evolution after the previous producer quit and the game was already late into development when he came on board. He cannot be contributed to how terrible that game turned out. I disagree about Capcom of today being 'fail'. As a matter of fact, Capcom today is better as a company than they were back in the 90s. Their relationship with the US branch isn't crap anymore, the localizations of their games have gotten so much better, better marketing, their relationship with the fanbase has increase tenfold and developing games that appeal to a global market rather than a domestic one.
  6. They're not using Morrigan's theme from MvC1. They're using her theme from Darkstalkers. They used the same theme for TvC.
  7. From the developer stand point, what's the point in bring back a series from it's 13 year dirtnap which at best only has a cult following? It's not a shoe in for success like Street Fighter and the VS games. Capcom has been a poor job in keeping series relevant as characters from outside of Morrigan and Felicia don't appear outside of their titular series. I understand them wanting a huge fan demand for a sequel before starting development of one.
  8. True but Fight Clubs are still provide a good wealth of info. I forward to player impressions of X-23 and Wesker. No address yet. Only the time and date are known. It's going to be from 8PM to 11PM.
  9. I don't care. Playing matches on the training stage has never been a problem for me. I didn't even think it was a problem until I saw this thread. If people want it banned it won't bother me. Nothing of value has been lost.
  10. That's because he is. Seth Killian explained just holding up will make him hover. He does have a traditional fly command however. The second video I posted on the previous page explains his gameplay
  11. Capcom is having another fight club on the 28th in Atlanta. It's gonna have a new build with X-23, Tron, Wesker and Spider-Man being playable.
  12. Fire Pro is coming to the 360 as an Avatar game. Fire Pro traditionally made up of expys of well known wrestlers. I've seen gameplay of this and it looks alot like TNA impact.
  13. Good interview with Seth Killian. He gives a small breakdown on the characters that were announced at comic-con http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxP26iCnilQ&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OReUhZfx9BU&feature=related
  14. I absolutely suck at the game and that will never change. Staying free indeed
  15. I never use dust when I play GG. IMO, launchers shouldn't be it's own button.
  16. I got to play four matches during my three day venture at Comic-con. The controls is gonna take some time to get use to. Launchers as it's own button felt unnatural to me. I would have preferred if they kept launchers as like in TvC. The controls felt very loose. I kept super jumping when I did the DP motion and some specials moves got different motion commands. When I played Felicia she had different motions for sand splash and cat spike. Holding down the assist button to tag isn't as bad as it sounds. I warmed up to it quickly and actually prefer it now than pressing two buttons. With the new controls adjusting is definitely needed.
  17. No it doesn't. It's not even close. I bet it's the voice actor from Wolverine and the X-Men.
  18. I still hate MODOK. Damn it Marvel there are so many better villains to choose from and you wanted him for the roster? It's obvious my bias towards this character will not change even with the gameplay. I will settle for beating his ass and wishing that Taskmaster was in instead.
  19. MODOK is a shitty fucking villain. Who's bright idea was to add that guy? There are so many better villain choices than him. I mad Spencer is bittersweet for me. I think that he's a great addition and looks to have a interesting gameplay. Though they chose the wrong design. It should have been Rearmed Spencer. Arthur is the man. Nuff said. Meh on Mags. I hope people don't expect the same level of broken from this game like he was in the last.
  20. That might be true for Japan but not in the US. We haven't gotten anything remotely related to Basara since Devil Kings. Since Westerners have the most interest in MvC3 it's a wasted opportunity like Tsuki Garyuu said. Including a Basara character in the game is the best way to increase the series awareness in the West.
  21. Makes me a sad panda as well. I think it's a bad idea on Capcom part to not include a Basara character. The series is red hot in Japan and it could possibly spark interest in the West if a character from the series were included.
  22. The guy who leaked the SSFIV roster and MvC3 development stated that the game will have 40+ characters and game won't have any characters from Sengoku Basara. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=23508824&postcount=42 http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=23560276&postcount=95
  23. MvC2 had 56 characters. The game should be ready by Spring. Around April or May should be right A sample of Captain America, Iron Man, Ryu and Chun-li's remix themes. Sound quality is bad so don't expect much from it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7zf2bYvj6s&feature=player_embedded IMO, they all suck
  24. Capcom will reveal more characters and features at NYCC.
