  1. I would suspect they would be using the TGS build. I don't expect the newly revealed characters and features to be playable at the event. If they manage to make Wesker, Spidey, X-23 and Tron playable for comic-con it would be sweet. January wouldn't be too soon. From interviews the producer and Seth, there's still a lot of things that need to be completed. All the modes have been decided yet, they're still trying to squeeze in more characters before the deadline and nor has the final build been decided upon. Game is too incomplete at this stage to hope for a January release.
  2. I like the giants. I thought they added something unique to the game. I was sadden to hear that MvC3 wouldn't feature them. My dreams of seeing Fin Fang Foom as a playable character went up in flames
  3. Friday, October 8 from 7:15 PM - 8: 15 PM according to the site.
  4. MvC3 doesn't even use the same engine as TvC. It's impossible for them to do a copy/paste.
  5. You gave me the perfect opportunity to finally use this. I just can't resist.
  6. New York isn't as high profile as the San Diego Con. It's a much smaller event by comparison. Still, I'm going to play the hell out of this game when I'm there.
  7. In the NYC comic con page says that Capcom will reveal new characters and features at the show http://nycc_nyaf10.mapyourshow.com/3_0/sessions/sessiondetails.cfm?ScheduledSessionID=1059
  8. I brought my pass for the NYC Comic con and I look forward to playing the game there. I'm crossing my fingers hoping X-23 is playable in that build
  9. I never thought he would be broken. A scrub magnet sure but not broken. Seth Killian wasn't kidding when he said Dante will have all his moves from DMC.
  10. Dante is overlap nightmare.
  11. Same here. She's definitely on my team
  12. Some notes about MvC3 Fight Club in Chicago http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2010/sep/24/mvc3-character-notes-and-rumor-list-debunking/
  13. That wasn't the image I had in mind. I didn't play Namco X Capcom and Crossedge so I didn't know she was in those games.
  14. Hsien-Ko only had two crossover appearances. Super Puzzle Fighter and Pocket Fighter. The girl needs more love. Great design, awesome backstory and interesting playstyle and she gets passed over every time. Tell me what's so interesting about Talbain? As a character there's nothing special about him. Some unfortunate fellow he's cursed to be a werewolf and is a dick about it. This characterization is no different from classic werewolf tales. Sounds rather generic to me. I have a image marco for this but I'm going to resist the urge to use it
  15. I rather see Hsien-Ko and Victor make a comeback over Talban. They have more character potential than him and more fun to use. I like Felicia as well so her inclusion always makes me happy. I'll take a nun and inspiring pop idol and actress over a generic werewolf.
  16. Hey! I like Felicia as a character. I'm sure they only censored the promotional martial. Namco they the same thing with Soul Calibur with Ivy
  17. I forgot about that port. It not coming to America is Sony's fault. A guideline issue prevented it's release here.
  18. I wouldn't count on Breath of Fire. Capcom has treated that series like an unwanted stepchild after the failure of Dragon Quarter. No new games since, no new ports of the older games, the characters haven't made cameos in other games to my knowledge nor has the music.
  19. In addition to the three attack buttons, there is also a launch button. Seth Killian talked about another new feature called the X-Factor. The way he described it it's gotta work as a roman cancel that will give your characters minor buffs. Though Capcom is still undecided if they want for X-Factors to grant buffs or not
  20. Axel has fans? Surely you jest.
  21. Mega Man doesn't quite work that way. The character has 7 different series to his name with each incarnation of the character having a distinct personality and set of abilities. Also each series has it's share of fans. Really, no matter which Mega Man is chosen someone loses.
  22. Perhaps Alpha is referring to the game's build. Honestly, I'm thinking if there's anything X related in this game, it'll probably end up being a alternate costume to whichever Mega Man they decide to add.
  23. Yea, that argument was going nowhere. Once cherry picking comments went into play it just went to troll territory.
  24. Who's being defensive? No one disagrees with the notion of playing offline will make you a better player. Cake makes it seem that playing online won't improve your game at all is what I have an issue with. Cake makes seem to think that good players don't exist online. Mashing and bad habits are everywhere. Sadly, most of the my local scene in my area is just that. I still think it's an arrogant statement to make
  25. I understand your a advocate for offline play being better for learning but to say they no one will get good for playing online is an arrogant thing to say.
