Hmmm...no. I've been trying to develop a scene here since CT dropped with no success. Only one friend of mine puts as much time and effort into the game as I do. My other hardcore buddies have no interest in this game. They'll play a few matches and then go back to Street Fighter IV or Tekken 6. Then there's the people I know that play casually that don't actively seek to get better. I tried teaching them basic fighter fundamentals but they don't understand it's usefulness. While I have no shortage of people to play with offline there's no interest to play the game beyond a casual level.

The advise is for playing online which is the thread topic. The advise was clearly to make the online experience run smooth as possible

My one friend is the only one that fits the bill. I haven't found anyone else who plays the game on a competitive level around my way.

Not exactly the case for me. I have people to play with and it's hard for me to great better. Of my group of friends only one is actually good and is on my level. The rest completely suck and won't practice while rest hate the game. I don't have the money to burn to make trips to Chinatown to play in the arcade. Online makes life easier.

The first TTT was released after T3. This new one being released after T6. We get a new TTT after every 3 installments in the main series...?

The current stages so far: Asgard, the Helicarrier, underground Umbrella lab, Kattelox Island (Mega Man Legends stage) and Daily Bugle rooftop.

I like the new voices better. Captain America doesn't sound hammy anymore, Iron Man actually sounds like he's in a suit of armor, Steve Blum is a better voice for Wolverine than the last guy they had. Spider-Man sounds right to me.

Finally, a villain on the Capcom side. Wesker going to be a cross up beast.

Remember, 30 isn't the final number. It the minimum that Capcom set themselves in early development. It's highly subject to change

You are aware that the VS series has always been casual friendly, right? While it's easy to say to not appeal to scrubs the hardcore crowd isn't enough to make the game a success. Limiting your audience is never a good thing

The roster is a nice mix of returning characters and new faces. With the current revealed roster their are 11 returning characters and 9 new ones. That's pretty good.

I don't remember Wolverine's divekick working the way X-23's does. Seems to work the same way as Cammy's cannon spikes. Really, the only thing one of her supers has in common with Weapon X is it's end animation. God forbid she can't have a slash on the screen after doing a move. With the exception of Dormammu and Trish every character on the roster is popular or a fan favorite. X-23 and Tron both fit with that.

We have Spider-Man so why include Venom? Who needs War Machine when we have Iron Man? Sabretooth didn't need to be in. Not when Wolverine is around. Yes, your hate is unwarranted. Your focusing your hatred on the character over a trivial thing. I don't know how familiar you are with the X-men fandom but X-23 is a popular character. Since she plays nothing like Wolverine her spot wasn't a waste.

Why do you hate X-23 exactly? The hate your giving her is completely unwarranted especially for someone who is unfamiliar with the character.

This pleases me. From the looks of it she has more range than Wolverine and better moves. I will enjoy playing her

As the character doesn't fight like Wolverine at all it's going to be very easy to differentiate them. She's gotta have moves that will use her feet claws. She's trained to use various types of melee weapons and firearms. A move to capitalize on that could easily be included.

Yea, she's a Wolverine clone but she's nothing like Wolverine. She's more agile, far more intelligent in the way she fights, knows to keep her emotions in check, and isn't prone to berserker rages like Logan. She's miles above being a simple clone. Read NYX, her two mini-series, X-Force or even the issue of her ongoing that came out today.

There's nothing lame about X-23. I'm glad that she's in.
