Sucking at BB, claustophobia and first time tournament jitters :P Been trying to squeeze in as much practice as I cram for my up coming exams, but it defiantly isn't enough for me. Some match ups I'm just having trouble figuring out with Makoto (Litchi and Carl).

Personally the idea of casuals seems great. I'm in no way shape or form a competitive BB player(trying to get there....slowly) but getting to play the better people or just do local play with other players in the area is a lot of fun. I think this would help get a lot of the newer players out and see what the scene is like. I was nervous going to NCI but everyone there was so nice that I really want to become a part of this community. So just doing a fun event, like casuals so that community can get to know each other a bit more. Going to NCI it was a bit hard for me to get into it because everyone seemed to know each other and its was scene already formed, and it seemed a bit daunting still by the end of the night I had met some people. So I think it would be nice to get a less serious, more getting the new comers into the scene and getting them active and talking to them more to make them feel part the community will bring them back time and time again.

I had the same problem with Makoto doing a 2b - 6 a. I find if I hold the 2c in 1 position then I can get to the 6 position a lot quicker without crossing over the 3 position. I donno if this is beneficial or just a bad habit though.

And duct taping! Haha I'm with Nate, NCI was my first tourney but I still helped as I brought things for mike z. I'd also be willing to help out as much as my school allows me.

He is burnt out from a TO, and starting a scene and keeping it going is probably pretty tiresome.

Aye, as a new comer there myself. I found a lot of people who came out for their first tournament themselves. This one brought in quite a few people the scene, and I'd be more than willing to help in anyway I can with future tournaments. (might be limited because of school.)

Sorry for responding late I just got off my shift at the hospital, posted on my lunch break :P As far as I can tell its lagless I posted up specs earlier but here they are again Samsung 22" 1680x1050 dvi and vga output 2 ms refresh rate. actually I found the new egg specification http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001273R&cm_re=t220-_-24-001-273R-_-Product I'll bring cables and a HDMI to DVI converter (Not sure if needed). I'm not sure about what to do with the sound, though, do I need to bring a sound set up for this? I'm unfimiliar with the options i have with a ps3 but I have a RCA audio converter to 3.5mm and I can bring some bad speakers if necessary (they'll get the job done at the very least) I have used it for street fighter IV and BB:CT and haven't noticed anything it should work out just fine. You can test it when I bring it and if you aren't sure about it, I'll see if mike z wants to use it for his set up. Touhou pins.. do want :3
