You should always go for the corner carry combo unless you are out of wind or if the combo will finish the opponent. If you have 50 heat, you can go for a midscreen combo into BBL to regenerate enough wind with pumpkin oki. Your goal should always be the corner though. Neither enough wind nor meter avaiable? End the combo with a 3C into Frog/Pumpkin oki. Going into an air combo where the opponent can tech midair isn't worth the damage. Oki to maintain pressure is more useful than a bit more damage.

Come one, we all know that it's impossible to AA with CS1 Rachel's 6A ...

Some online Tagers still do it, lol. You can also IB the 5D and hit Tager out of Sledge B with 5A. If he decides for 236A, you are still in blockstun not to get CH'd. It's worth mentioning that meaty 6C in the corner w/ frog oki beats all of Tagers options except of MTW. (Thought I read it here already but for some reason it didn't get mentioned v: )

I'm sad most people think it's the worst mothership title. The story was, for a Tales game, very good. Also: Go Shiina > Sakuraba. The soundtrack is soo delicious @kro_: If we compare the Star Ocean series to the Atelier Series, Atelier Iris would be SO2 and Atelier Rorona/Totori would be SO4, according to Starlight's ranking, just saying.

You actually like that dungeon? Man, I wish I could too. v: Everytime I see the map, I don't even want to play it. The tales studios are really bad when it comes to making cool secret dungeons, imo. ToV, ToV PS3, TotA, ToS2, ToD®, ToP.. I hate them all lol.

I have yet to face a Noel who uses 4D as a poke lol. 4D loses to our 5B if we meaty it, but we know that already~ j.4D nets Noel a FC, and at least 6k in the corner thanks to Rachel's hitbox. You can easily react with 2C tough, which nets us about the same damage with 50 heat. It's also worth mentioning that you can grab her before j.4D hits. And don't forget that it hits low too.

I bought a Xbox360 just for ToV ... And I spend like 300 hours on it. Playing the PS3 version more or less at the moment, want to fight against Spiral Draco but the dungeon is so annoying.

How do you guys feel about using 5B over 2A as the main poke in the MU? 5B beats Noel's 2A clean, maybe 5B too. I know that a whiffed 5B can be punished somewhat easy, but Rachel won't be in a crouching state where Noel's only option in starting a combo lies. As long as she doesn't go for 6A that is.

Have you played Atelier Rorona? The gameplay is almost the same, there are just a few changes. If you haven't, it's just a.. boring "collect materials to create a cool item with alchemy" RPG without a good story, but with cute characters. v: Nah really, all you do is collecting materials, beating monsters to farm more materials or doing some side quests where you.. have to collect/craft materials. You also have a deadline set and if you don't succeed in crafting a certain item during given deadline, you will get a game over. That schedule oriented gameplay makes the whole "searching and trying to create new items through different materials" thing a bit discouraging. If you are a fan of collecting and crafting, the game could probably interest you. But if you look for a more traditional jRPG (which are more or less dead anyways), don't buy it.

I'm just glad I played SO4 before I started ToV. Otherwhise I wouldn't have enjoyed the battle system of SO4, which was the only enjoyable thing about the game.. V: edit: Come to think of, how are SO2 and SO3? Played SO1 on PSP and didn't like it, so I'm not really sure whether to try 2 and 3.

Star Ocean 4 is so good, kay? It was like the best jRPG I ever played, kaay? Nah, I'm just kidding, kay? So annoying, I swear.

j.2C \/ 236A seems to be much more useful. This is just a guess but if they don't tech, the Lobelia will catch them, allowing to "continue" your combo into another j.2C ender. If they emergency tech, they get hit by meaty A Lobelia and Rachel will have frame advantage. Seems like you can even beat backdash attempts of certain Characters after meaty Lobelia.
