GGs. You have to determine whether the player's oki is strong enough. Sometimes I messed up so it won't be difficult for you to roll out, but if I have everything on lock I can catch the roll outs, so you'd want to neutral tech. I can't really give you advise as to what to do against Valk. When I play against Valk I usually DP since Tsubaki has nice follow up options, but with everyone else it isn't as simple.
I'd advise you to neutral tech and block accordingly against Tsubaki though. 22B combo enders makes it so that if you try to roll out you'll end up right in front of her. Plus it's much easier to block and react to Tsubaki's stuff minus the command grab.
Ofc, if you feel that the player is obvious or you have a strong hunch you can counter, but consider the risk and reward of using a counter on wakeup.
