Mac uses Hakumen so even if he techs accordingly he still has no answer to unblockables unless he used an astral. 22C has less untechable time than 22B yes, but if Mac techs 22C immediately and Tsubaki opts for the unblockable he will get hit. Remember 22C is better for immediate pressure whilst 22B is better for charge.

Yea it can be done midscreen. It's listed as a midscreen combo too but with one less j.C.

PK and I forbid it. It can, or it could clash, or it could beat Tsubaki's 214D. It is completely dependant on the timing. You even have the option to cancel the stance or hold it longer which makes it more problematic for us. I normally don't use 214D against Gashou. Edit: Didn't realise Hex posted before me whoops.

If you block this move in the air, you cannot punish it. j.214X won't work he'll block it in time and then punish you. If you block it on the ground, you can dash 5C/5B CH > 6C him. You can even CH 22D him if you're not too far. If you're right in his face when you block it, you have the option to use FC 3C too.
