Thought it was unblockable, it just guard crushes if normally blocked. I was misinformed. The usefulness of 22D has slipped then. May as well save yourself the stress and swag by going for CT.

If Tsubaki can use Mugen and then followup with the blade super, she'll have a very costly unblockable setup, making 22D useful, but kinda impractical. Sorry I know I drastically changed the subject but it was on my mind.

Yea pretty much this. There is no denying that us Tsubaki players will abuse this. Adam, there is no frame specified for j.214D, but they can CH you if they are fast enough.

Yea this is the case if you opt for a meaty option but I find that waiting like a split second after he techs helps me a lot. This is not to say that you should do it often though since DJ is completely right regarding aggression. Good to see you though!

That's funny because I was just thinking that Kuresu should throw more, especially since we get good damage from it. Better than using 6A often. Also, Konan was known to abuse DPs too.

Sometimes Jourdal/PK have the original sources and sometimes they come from streams. You're gonna have to look around. If people are mashing 2A on their wakeup against you it probably means you're not doing anything meaty. The only ways around DPs on players wakeup with Valk is to use 4C/7C so to avoid it, or you're gonna have to block. Usually you don't know when a player is going to DP but it's up to you to be able to assess your opponent properly. Valkenhayn even has an option select againt Jin's DPs. Here. 6C can beat players who backdash for example, or you could even extend the wolf dash a little more so your j.A/B catches them. Can't help you much with Carl because I don't play against any good ones. With wolf movement, I listed various ways here.

I actually enjoy watching Kuresu, alot more now in CP than EX. Fair enough he DPs alot I noticed that too, but it is working for him. I've actually seen (or assumed lol) players try to bait it but get nothing. If they do bait it, it's just a matter of knowing how to punish the followup. There's a little mind game involved in that as well. You don't know how she's gonna followup and if you think you can punish her, she could just hit you with j.214D. She could even get past you and be safe completely, like in the matches against Chibaken. Alternatively you could just use the fireball to avoid any AA attempts they will throw at you had you used the j.214D followup. You get the idea but basically the point is that it can be awkward to punish. Hm? What bad habits do you have in mind?

I guess he really likes the new DP haha. I mean he can afford to as well really seeing that he can cover it with stock at times.
