Yo Wallice, what time do you want to end it this week? Because I'm probably going to go up to Santa Barbara to visit family for the weekend and I'm gonna leave directly from your place, and I might need to leave early to get there at a reasonable time.

I'll be there for the first one in December. Gonna be out of town for Thanksgiving weekend which it looks like the next danisen will be falling on.

I also can't make it because I am dumb and I took a class that has Saturday exams sometimes. Never again! I'll make it back to the danisen eventually.

Me, shtkn, hakimiru, wallice were there last time. This friday sounds like it'll be shtkn hosting, his place is significantly easier to find. And I think Wallice sent a map of the place? Either way, the important thing to remember is Mirada apartments after the giant mormon castle.

Well to both of you it sounds like we will be trying to do one every week now that we know Wallice's place is sufficient for meetups. I hope to see you guys show up soon!

I can bring a monitor/speakers for a PS3 setup if Wallice thinks he has room for it. Let me know, Wallice! Also I have a convertor for the xbox setup since I use a PS3 stick too, so there's that. Might be a problem if we want to play against each other though. I'll check the thread again before I head out tomorrow to see about the monitor/setup thing~ edit: actually, is Hakimiru even coming? if he's not coming we could just use the PS3, right?

Well now that we've got all the characters everyone was expecting, I wonder who those last two character slots are. I'd like to see video of Teddie and Naoto so we can get a better idea of how they work... Screenshots only tell us so much.

also Schank, not sure if you're interested in BB at all, but most of us go to xie's danisen every other week (looks like the next one is on the 5th). you might be able to have a GG setup there once Xie gets the outlet situation figured out, I'd ask in the thread. Other than that I'm glad Wallice and shtkn are willing to play GG with you. I'll be trying to learn it but I'm kind of new to fighters in general, just barely getting decent at BB. That being said I recently started trying to learn Arakune because I have definitely felt Tager's limits, Litchi hasn't really felt that good, and also I hate myself. I'm putting a lot of time into it because I would really like to be able to play as that guy, he's the coolest. Probably won't be ready to bring him out at meetups for a while though, haha. edit: also, with the danisen being pushed back to next weekend, i won't be able to go to it due to having a test on saturday again. I swear I am never taking a class with Saturday exams ever again

I've been messing around with Arakune lately and think I'd like to try learning him, is there no basic combo thread anymore? I haven't really seen one around here.

I know shtkn has it. We usually just play BB but I wouldn't mind learning GG, and others might be interested in playing it too. I'm pretty new to the scene, too, so the others might have more to say about it.

Having 720 come out of guard point is an interesting idea. Now it seems like if you have meter you can just do voltic charge, and if they hit you during it you can just spin the stick and either hit A or C depending on if you think they're going to jump. And having meter won't be a problem, since Tager generates it so fast now. I'm really excited, why can't CSE be out yet.

I would like to go, but I have a test to do on Saturday morning, so I would only be able to stay for a very short time... I'll come to the next one, if there's another!

I have a writing placement test on the 22nd early in the morning, so that's a bit of a long drive for me to do. So if the general consensus is head there instead of the normal casuals, I'll have to pass. Let me know what everyone decides!
