No, Liz vs Yu is hilariously dumb. He has better pressure, their neutral is about the same, he can low profile her spacing and zoning tools with his slide, and he has more health than her. Not to mention his godlike oki. And her reversal is really easy to bait, you can literally cover whatever you're doing on her wake-up with C+D and tech it. And her persona isn't really that scary, once you get used to it.

I was instant blocking his sweep (done after Kill Rush > stuff) in pressure yesterday a lot, and punishing it with 5A. Can someone confirm if this is legit or was I just calling him out on mashing things afterwards?

Okay, can someone help me out with how to deal with Labrys once she gets in? Her pressure feels REAAAALLY solid, it's kinda getting to my head. Neutral she's a bit of a pain too, but not so much since Yu is pretty much faster than her. Do I just need to learn to start instant blocking her stuff?

Found this out yesterday, but Swift Strike low profiles her 5B and lasers. You don't even need to block them, if you see it coming at neutral, tell Izanagi to guard them ankles. It's really funny to watch. Speaking of neutral, her 5B and j.B both nullify projectiles, so she can just react to you throwing Zio out. If you block her laser full screen, she's negative enough to give you time to cover the distance. Her 5B feels like it's a little faster than yours, and it's range is really good, so she can beat yours out with it. In her pressure, you can hit her out of the 5D persona grab (not to mention it's easy to jump being so slow), and 2C is negative enough for you to just hit her persona after blocking it (and it's air blockable, so really, you can jump after her 5C in pressure strings and just avoid either of them and break a persona card). On her wake-up, you can 2A or 5A and cover yourself with C+D, and if she decides to use her R Action, you tech it easy. With other options it's a little iffy, since you can't tech it if she manages to get a throw counter with it. The same thing applies if you use 5D oki, you can cover your jump in or jabs with C+D and even though her R action will go through Izanagi, you'll still be safe. Her reversal is definitely the easiest to bait.

Just to be an asshole, you have to include Air EX Raging Lion at least once.

Nope. Trust me on this one. If you use Yu's DP, you're using it once and either ending the combo or super canceling and ending the combo with a super. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE An interesting thing about Yu's DP and supers -His DP can only be super canceled, can't be OMC or OMB, though I think that's universal -Ziodyne, his beam super, can't be OMB'd, but can be OMC'd, but you can't combo after it realistically, because proration is shit at this point. -Cross Slash can't be OMC'd or OMB'd. You're not supposed to be able to combo off it except off of specific cross-under set-ups. I did find a double super 7.2k combo with him though, thanks to Cross Under Cross Slash, which I will lovingly abbreviate as CUCS.

It is just one giant square. You can't even cross it up.
