Daedron's foray into the online world of Extend I went to training mode after this to figure out how many times I could have done more damage, I think about half the combos I did were unoptimal lol. Oh well, that will come eventually EDIT: I took a quick look at part 3 (already watched part 1 and part 2) of the tutorial video. My jaw dropped when I saw some of the combos in the first 1.5 minutes. Didn't even think of that lol XD

I really doubt that works considering 5B is -5, add in the dash and the startup of 5C and your opponent has about 15-16 frames to hit you with something.
-
5C is about 7-8 frames now.
-
That combo will even work off of a 5B CH, so long as you can get off the 6CC you will be able to hit the part after it.
-
We don't celebrate christmas here Yaaaaaaaay~
-
Both will work in this case
-
Seems about right, not much more to add.
-
Oh I see, too bad we can't do that in CS EX, not even sure if triple is even possible anymore really, even using gold bursts I don't see a way to get even 1 charge from that with the 5D charge speed we have now, not to mention getting enough meter is even tougher due to proration.
-
TRIPLE?! I'll let Bat handle this :8/:

I lied when I said I wouldn't do combo videos...muahaha. Tsubaki Combo Video - Install of Darkness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKrMPPXJLmg I'll do another one in about half a year or so ;p
-
I made one and recorded it, will upload it now Okay, this is what I managed to cook up for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LoGMg4b_CY enjoy

Don't forget the gold bursts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_nZ80NNd68 I command BatousaiJ to post the notation for the 10.5K you did though, wonder what I could have added onto the combo I did above XD One of us should one day try to just IB/Block everything untill you get 100 heat and 5 charges while still having 2 bursts and try to pull these off lol, would be the biggest troll move ever...not like I see it happening though.

These are the 3/4 chargeless combos we will most likely be using: 1. 5BB - 2BB - 5CC - 22C then 2D to get charges. OR magic series (though less time to charge I guess) 2. 5BB - 5CC - 623C - j.214B(w) - j.C - jc - j.C - j.236A - j.214C = highest damage (2.3K) but doing a j.D to get charge is extremely risky since you're locked into place in the air, enough time for the opponent to bash you as you land or even before you land (and yay recovery) 3. 5BB - 5CC - 623C - j.214A(w) - hj - j.C - j.236A - j.214C - j.D - (air dash) = our best bet if we want to get in j.D charge time, but the high jump after j.214A(w) is pretty damn tight so... Honestly, I think it's best to just stay grounded when you're chargeless, might just be me. I honestly haven't really messed too much with BnB 1/2 charge combos so far, but I like using this 1 charge combo in the corner: 5BB - 5CC - 623C - j.214A(w) - j.C - jc - j.C - j.214D - 5CC - 2C - 236B - 214B - 22C. Believe it does something like 3K, I am actually not playing the game anymore right now but it SHOULD work lol

http://www40.atwiki.jp/tsubakiyayoi/pages/111.html Some framedata has been added to the Japanese Tsubaki wiki, the values I posted last page were pretty close to what the official data is. 5B is indeed -5 236C is indeed -13 236D is indeed -4 22D is -7 instead of -5 like I thought (ouch?) 214D is -7 instead of -6 like I thought. Rest of the values are still missing, but it honestly doesn't matter much, pretty much everything except 6B is - on block and we can no longer use our D moves to make ourselves safe except for j.236D - j.214D...
-
Just broke all the records: 9855... Try to beat it if you can ;p Yes it uses 2 gold bursts.
-
Okay, 6B is still +1 like in CS2. or at least + on block, probably 1 though. I tried out 6B - 5B and 6B - 5C as blockstrings. 6B - 5B = Ragna can counterhit Tsubaki with 5B, though I believe this was the case in CS2 as well + 5B is slower 6B - 5C = Ragna gets counterhit if he tries 5B, though 2A will obviously punish Tsubaki. EDIT: Highest damage I've done so far is 8606...anyone got higher? XD EDIT2: New max: 8789
-
22C is definately not...I actually haven't used 6B yet...hold on lol I am actually streaming right now for anyone who's interested by the way, easier to talk too: www.justin.tv/daedron

Just did a 8.4K combo using 5 charge mugen... Seems Max damage is better than CS2 after all lol Requires a starter of 6CC though, but still...with 1 charge mugen the combo still does close to 5/5.5K And you count the exact frames by switching characters, so like if you block something from Tsubaki and the move you can hit her with after blocking is 10 frames startup, then you go and pick a character that has a move that has an 11 frame startup and you keep going up until Tsubaki can block, that's how you find out how much - a move is on block. Or +...but from what I can see so far there are no moves that are + on block anymore (well..except j.236D - j.214D)
-
I put Tsubaki as the training dummy and then I pick another character, in most cases I used Ragna. You input your move and record it with the dummy like 5B then immediately go into crouching block. then you start the recording, block it with your character and then see if you can punish it before the dummy goes into crouching block. In any case, for example 5B - 5B has such a huge gap you can use 2C with Ragna and fatal Tsubaki, it's pretty hilarious. If you use 236D against another Tsubaki and you try to input another move that other Tsubaki can 5C counterhit you etc. So yeah...have fun lol EDIT: Just broke the 8K damage mark, 6C counterhit into mugen into combo into 236236D super = 8K xD

Alright, so I've had EX for a few hours now and I've mainly been messing around with regards to framedata. This is what I've found so far: 5B is -5 236C is -13 at close range and -3 at max range, no longer can we use it to safely approach characters. 214D is -6 22D is -5 236D is -4 or -5 5A > 5C > 2D > 5C is not a tight blockstring (something I believed before actually), you get counterhit out of the startup of the 2nd 5C pretty early so it's safe to say that most character's 5B's will counterhit you, at least you can block after 2D. 5C startup seems to be about 7 frames. Max combo damage for EX Tsu seems to be the same as CS2, but average damage is lower in a lot of cases. Mugen doesn't seem that effective still..but who knows.

Thanks AXIS, I was already planning on at least subbing Tager in EX because he looks pretty fun to play now. Not to mention I can't have a really good argument with him because I don't play Tager and just go by what I see in match videos more than anything else, hopefully this will make me a bit more aware of anything Tager related.
-
Just a quick question from a non-Tager player but...I have this guy who keeps complaining and whining how CS EX Tager will be just as bad as CS2 Tager cause all the buffs Tager got don't change any of the matchups and are useless with the reason that "Everyone still outranges Tager so nothing has changed, he just needs more range and nothing more" How am I going to convince him that Tager does NOT suck? Just to note: He has watched CS EX videos already and seems to know all the buffs/nerfs off of the top of his hat, yet apparently Tager will still be bad and not viable. And oh yeah, he isn't even close to being a good player either, yet takes Tier lists and matchups freaking serious.

Uh, in one of the videos PK posted of pet(Tager) vs Kuresu. Kuresu uses 22D against tager who blocks it, looking at it closely it seems Tager can act before or at the same time as Tsubaki Now of course it's kind of hard to say this without frame data but if Kuresu went into crouching block after 22D and still got hit by Tager's 5A...then I dunno what to say to that >.> Of course he could have also gone for a 2A...but then that still means 22D isn't +3 on block anymore...or something else entirely happened.
