The last one I will do :V Tsubaki Combo Video - Memento Mori
-
Too sexy for you? The gameplay/combat is something DMC can't even come close to...god the combat is so good ;_; Too bad DMC will never catch up to it either, what with Ninja Theory making the next one. R.I.P DMC.

*Plays against someone regularly, almost never use 3C* *Starts using 3C and 3CC oki* *Hits with 3C or 3CC about 3-4 times per round* *Watch as 3C gets called a cheap move* Now if only it got it's jump cancel back

BatousaiJ is the best netplayer.
-
Yes, yes indeed :V
-
Please Arc Sys, please re-design Arakune to not be such a horribly one-sided character in BB3. And make him unable to do 5AAAAA into that knockaway move, please make Arakunes actually hitconfirm stuff for once :V
-
Any tips on how to handle him pre-curse? or basically at Neutral? Really hate how 236D is minus on block now -_-
-
That's the safest thing you can do, you can dash 5A but if the opponent knows this you'll get counter hit. that's why it might be best to use 6B - 22C a bit before mixing it up with 6B - dash 5A - stuff. Keeps them honest cause 22C will counter hit them if they try to push a button after 6B, once you have taught them they cannot do that, then you can reset your pressure with 6B. Though the reward for landing a 22C counter hit is so low I wonder if certain opponents might just try and press buttons regardless because them hitting you with a 2A leads into at minimum double the damage of what we would get off of a 22C counter hit :V

Talking about framedata, the data for 22x series (except D version) is incredibly odd. I am not sure which of the values is wrong but 22B for example is listed as a move that has 29F of blockstun, but is listed as a move that's -5 on block which..doesn't make sense because 29 frames is the amount of time it takes to recover (meaning it would be 0 on block), but that's not true either cause I've tested it and it's definately minus...the data is just wrong lol. Meanwhile we have charged 22B which now has 4 less frames of recovery, also 29F of blockstun...if this was true it would be +4 which isn't the case, it's minus on block for sure. Data just seems incredibly messed up and if this is from the mook then yeah, they really fucked it up this time around.

Oh, I normally never rapid a 6B, though I would sure as hell have expected to not get thrown out of my only overhead if I did that...sigh. Not like I should be playing this game on 4 hours of sleep anyways, get mad salty lol
-
Yay, thrown out of my fucking 6A THREE FUCKING TIMES IN A MATCH. Ffs, this is the exact fucking reason I want a 1 charge overhead in BB3 2B - 6A = thrown, 6B - rapid - 6A = thrown Or make it fucking gatlingable from 6C...HELL that would actually be pretty freaking funny to use too. Then again, I guess "LOLRANKED" anyways, but still...goddammit man. Meanwhile Ragna is parading around with his 20 frame overhead or however fast gauntlet hades is that leads into stupid amounts of damage for no reason except because it's ragna and Lambda's 4B manages to hit you even though you're 10 freaking feet above her and all. /end rant
-
Sure, I take it you have paid for everything and done all the schoolwork I still have to do? Awesome
-
Yay!!!~ More targets to eliminate. Wait, I am not even from the UK...I AM IN HOSTILE TERRITORY! TIME TO PACK MY SHIT, BAI BAI!~ EDIT2: Wait, what? Dry anus? I think you need to butter up your pooper.
-
Really? That's pretty sad ;/ Especially if you get it from Ragna's. I hope for BB3 they somehow reads Batousai's suggestion...we really need a super that gives us an instant 3 stocks for 50 meter to make matchups where we can't find time to charge too much a lot more manageable
-
I would honestly just make them bold, the gold colour is barely readable.
-
The exact reason why a lenient input system/buffer isn't always nice to have. 66236 getting read as 623 and not 236 is just awful.
-
You have to slightly delay the 236B/C after the 2CC for it connect, too fast and you'll go right under...though I have never seen 214x series not connect after a 236B/C so I think you're not inputting the 214 fast enough after the 236B/C hit. EDIT: Wait, Oh...I get it, well doing 236C > 214A will make the 214A go in the wrong direction that's for sure (cause it just happened to me). I would only use 236B -214B -22C midscreen and use 236C - 214B/C - 22C for the corner, where that won't ever happen.
-
You can optimize this one, dunno if you can get this to work on everyone but I managed to do: FC 3C > 623C > j.214A(w) > dash 2CC > 5C > 2CC > 236B > 214B > 22C against Hazama Deals 2806 damage. Funny thing is. FC 3C> 6CC > 236C > 214A > dash 5C > 2C - 236B - 214B - 22B deals 2806 damage as well and is a lot easier ;p You can do 2CC after the 5C to get more damage, 2913 :V Optimized 3C FC corner combo (no charge): 3C FC > 6CC > 236C > 214C > 5C > 2CC > 22B > 5C > 2C > 236B > 214B > 22C = 3056 damage.

Yeah, charge cancelling isn't safe and anyone who pays attention will most likely be able to beat you out of whatever you're going to pull off next, which is why it might be a good idea to sometimes just sit and block or backdash to try and make them whiff whatever they're throwing out (though this is really matchup dependant, cause certain characters will easily beat out a backdash with some of their moves into good damage). Make sure to mix up your charge cancels so you do not get predictable, something I don't always do cause I tend to charge cancel 5C a lot, mixing in charge cancels off of a 5B or 2B definately helps (just remember their levels are lower than 5C and 5CC so it's slightly easier for the opponent to hit you after). If you think someone is mashing on jab you can delay your strings to catch them, I sometimes do this with 5CC when I know my opponent knows I charge cancel after 5C and they start pressing jab in preperation for it, 5CC would hit them out of it if it's delayed and if it gets blocked I tend to go for 22C instead of the charge cancel to put yet another frame trap in there (and take off a primer as well) Yeah, that was fun. Even though I can't play over half the cast at all lol. You'll get there, don't worry =) -

"Playing" isn't really the right word I think. I know his combos for the most part and I know some 720 setups but that's about it. I can also do backdash -360 or 720 quite easily (though not on pad...like in the video where I kept failing lol) I suck at neutral with him cause yeah, I dunno how to punish stuff yet or even how to approach without getting hit myself. :V Thank you for your advice, I've become a better player in real life and I can't thank you enough for it. -

Quick session with Shruikon today, I recorded the matches I had with him and he's looking for advice. Would be nifty if people could watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNLOW-U4tYI No, I don't need any advice myself, thank you. :V -

Hmm, didn't really think about the A/B/C versions yet honestly... I could say "NO, this move is a D ONLY MOVE" but then that would be extremely odd considering all her other moves have versions as well... They shouldn't hit overhead though, that's for sure (except maybe a slow C version or something...). Yeah, I dunno. I'm just not gonna think about it right now lol. the chances that we get an overhead move that uses stock is very slim I think :V
