  1. It'd make very little sense for this to be the case. I don't get why people immediately assume because of her eye colors that this is the case; she could inherit the Embryo/Azure/plot device a second time after all.
  2. Or you could just tell him instead of being unhelpful.
  3. It's the Hazama VS Ragna theme, not Terumi VS Ragna theme. Two different characters; it'd be stupid to make that play for Terumi VS Ragna. Might as well just have Imperial Code play for Hakumen VS Noel since that makes more sense (but is equally stupid.). And then at that point they might as well just remove all individual character themes since it'll become "VS Songs: The Fighting Game" even moreso than it already is.
  4. lolwut. I'm not even sure if I can take you seriously if that's your first sentence. Thanks for proving my sig right though! I'm defending Nine's design and telling other people not to shit on Mori for the design, dingus. Granted I'll give you this one since my original post got deleted, but yeah. We're in agreement on this one. Be careful though; defending her outfit might make somebody mistake your post for arguing about the general portrayal of women in videogames even though you're just rationalizing a design that's pretty good. You're right, Naoto is meant to be the typical protagonist except OH WAIT THAT'S ALREADY WHAT RAGNA'S ARCHETYPE WAS. And Naoto's not even the protagonist, so it looks even stupider and more forced than anything. He was fine with what he was for Bloodedge Experience, dumb as it was, but now it's just ridiculous. How is he legitimate? What about him makes him stand out? He's literally a carbon copy of Ragna with a worse personality. Directly interacting with Xblaze is not a strong point either since XBlaze barely even connected to anything, and if nothing else just convoluted crap more. People who're glad to have him in Centralfiction likely don't give a damn about the story, since he ultimately adds nothing beyond 'hey Rachel you look like your clone; did I mention how stupid of a plot thing that was?' NAoto's very existence in the game does nothing but just make things more convoluted in regards to the timeline and characters themselves, and he should've stayed in Bloodedge Experience.
  5. So we're not allowed to discuss how he just seems thrown into the plot with little or no reason, then? Or is that a 'soapbox blog' thing too? Or the fact that it looks like he's going to upstage Ragna, who already barely gets any spotlight whatsoever in the series he's the freaking protagonist of? Because if any discussion that isn't praise of a character's inclusion isn't allowed, that's bull.
  6. Please don't shit up DFO like you guys did with BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. Thank you.
  7. Audio skips aren't even worth complaining about, and that isn't a translator's problem. Seriously, does it bloody matter if we don't get to hear Izayoi finish a sentence that we already know what she's going to say in her Astral? I swear, the nipicking is ridiculous. And there's only a few typos here or there, and the only time I've ever seen missing lines or subtitles not matching dialogue was one cinematic and nothing more. Yeah they shouldn't be proud of it, but to say they should be ashamed is just idiotic. You're all acting like this is a Lux-Pain level translation blunder when in reality there's barely any problems. Everybody needs to stop whining and nitpicking everything, goddamn.
  8. This has to be one of the whiniest posts about one of the stupidest things I've ever seen on this website, and I've seen a damn good amount of stupid posts. Yeah that they ever-so-slightly zoomed in the image of the LE is kinda stupid, but is it really worth crying so much over? How can it look terrible if it barely even changed, because you can't see a little bit of thigh and belly? If you're that eager to see Celica or Noel's various body parts the internet is more than eager to help you. Yeah censorship sucks, but if you're going to bitch about it at least bitch about it in cases where it actually is worth it. I'm actually pretty glad they zoomed it in a bit considering it would've been awkward walking out of the store with it otherwise, and since it's the same in the artbook they probably didn't change it because somebody was showing some skin. Holy shit. Also, the translation in CP is fine, leagues better than BBCSE. Just because they made one mistake with translations doesn't mean you have to be such a damn otaku about it. And this is far from the first time that an English title has ben slightly changed in US release. Seriously, are you really bitching because they didn't capitalize the entire thing and spaced it out properly? If they changed the title entirely I'd understand, but it's not even close to that. English titled games in Japan are often written like that or horribly butchered anyways, so it's perfectly normal for them to fix it up. Seriously, quit being such a whiny brat.
  9. Considering the fact that the story's portrayal of Ragna pretty much goes against how he is portrayed and established in every other medium, it's highly likely that it's either A) not canon or B) a different timeline or C) how they wanted to portray Ragna originally but they changed their minds and forgot about it because it's an obscure short story that most people don't even know about or D) embellishment to Hell and back.
  10. Did anybody even stop for a moment to think that the description is very likely either A) embellished or B) something like GG where the descriptions are all NOL descriptions like the PWAB ones in GG. Dear God do people just not use their brains on DL or what. I think we can all safely agree that yes, he did kill a lot of librarium people, and there were probably younger members and/or women among them. He wouldn't randomly kill innocent people, it's completely against what's been established, and he's legitimately one of the actually nice characters in a world of mostly asshole people.
  11. Pretty much what I thought.
  12. I go away for a month and the story thread goes full retard. Anybody who says Ragna's a quitter didn't even play the game at all; go back and actually pay attention to the storyline. Prepare for systematic hole poking in your post. A) All BlazBlue characters were modeled after certain archetypes. Ragna was modeled after a typical sullen JRPG or anime hero. No shit you've seen it before. B) Only three girls in the story fall for him, and even then, two of them are only heavily implied. If you even try to bring up Rachel's joke ending then you might as well just be posting "I cannot use common sense; throw rocks at me." C) He's nice to certain people, including Tao, Jubei, Litchi (in their brief encounters), and later on to Noel.
  13. The one on the right. They both look good, but the one wing looks a bit more...fluid, I guess.
  14. So you have no definitive proof for either case. Considering, though, that the only three seen so far were all based off them, it's not far-fetched to think they all are. Especially given BlazBlue's time-looping shenanigans and such. Pretty sure that was the first attempt at the Kusanagi and the first creation of the Murakumos are unrelated. I mean yes a Kusanagi is an upgraded Murakumo but Relius, Terumi, and Shuichiro fucking around and trying to create it while accidentally summoning the Black Beast was a separate incident from the first Prime Field Device's creation, as it was in Phase 0. And Murakumos were made primarily to explore the boundary; the creation of the Kusanagi is Terumi and his friend's own thing. The game describes how they looked, and even if they weren't tempered correctly, it doesn't make them Murakumos. Incomplete/tempered badly =/= not Murakumo at all. It just makes them failures. You're right; they were discarded like trash because they were failed. That doesn't mean anything. We have no idea whether or not the place Makoto visited was Relius's old lab or not.
  15. Oh holy shit it's Broly. Also, I swear I've seen the colors for Bullet and Izayoi there...crap, this is gonna piss me off until I remember.
  16. "I dislike a character's design, and anybody who disagrees with me clearly doesn't care about character design as much as I do!!" You basically just quoted what I said and repeated what was in the quote anyways. Are we sure those are Murakumos? I mean I can't think of anything else they'd be, granted, but are we absolutely sure they're Murakumos? And the 1st Prime Field Device isn't a Murakumo anyways. And where is it said that only 11-13 are based on Saya, or that the others aren't? Because I remember hearing them all being based on Saya, not just the last three. Honestly, even with the arcade and story quotes and scenarios you guys are mentioning, all I see are them talking about Murakumos. I never said all Prime Field Devices were Murakumos. I said that all Murakumos are Prime Field Devices. Doesn't sound that different, but it is.
  17. I never really got that either, but I assumed it was just two incomplete Murakumos who Nu could see out of or something.
  18. Pretty sure that means they're other Murakumos, since the Murakumos themselves are types of Prime Field Devices.
  19. ...so other Murakumos then.
  20. Guess I need to play through the story mode again, because I swear they made it pretty damn clear that they were the other Murakumos.
  21. That Saber Izayoi. Awesome.
  22. Oh my God are people still bitching about Makoto? Seriously? You mean other Murakumo units. I have no idea where you got Mu-12 bodies. Pretty much this; with Makoto's fighting style being what it is and how she uses pretty much her whole body, she needs as much movement as she can. And honestly it makes sense given who Makoto is; we already know she doesn't give a damn about if people see more of her skin than not, even if she's naked. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if she did have a wardrobe malfunction and it didn't bother her and she kept fighting (which makes that one idiotic GIF somebody made where it does happen and she gets embarrassed hilariously inaccurate.) I'm honestly surprised more people can't draw this conclusion, but most of Dustloop is intellectually deficient anyways so this isn't too big of a surprise. People who get bent out of shape over a fictional, fantasy world being unrealistic, or people who think all females need to dress like nuns. If it's a legitimately idiotic discussion, people are going to say it. Don't just tell people not to tell people that their current conversation sucks. That's useless. Or the people in question are just assholes.
  23. True, their designs are a bit ridiculous, but overall they aren't incredibly bad. I see her using them less as tonfas and more of just weights or equipment to enhance her own strength anyways.
  24. No she wouldn't.
  25. Everybody was pointing that out yesterday; you're a little late. It didn't look like anything that'd be Saya's emblem anyways, and revealing hers this early would be unusual anyways.
