Ive been experimenting and i finally worked out a reset. j.D(Preferrable if you j.2D into this) > j.236D > (dashing) 6C > 5C > jump cancel > j.A > j.B > jump cancel > grab whiff > falling j.B > Combo The trick is to have the opponent land before you do. After the grab you should be slightly higher than your opponent while in the air. (Here is the flaw in this reset) It will only work if your opponent is rushing to tech out of your combo. As soon as they tech, the j.B hits and starts up a new combo opportunity.

  7. Definitely stick with Jin if you want rush & defense, but if you want good oki and better high/low mix up options i'd say Mu, she's a perfect mix of Rushdown, Zoning, and mix(rush & zoning), decent high/low mix up options.
  8. Not really, Litchi is the only character of the cast who can rack up a 30+ hit combo on oki without having the combo go bluebeat, Carl has decent oki, but there's no much he can do from the ground besides picking you up & looping you. It's really predictable too.
  9. That's actually normal, i switched mains a few times, I went from Jin, to Ragna, to Hazama, to Rachel. And after picking them up, i learned something new about the game mechanics, or how to beat the character, example, i learned that you could gatling, B,A,B,C in the air from using Rachel, and from playing Ragna i found out holes in his pressure strings, making it easier to fight him now with Jin. It's also pretty common for people to switch back to their original mains after using other characters.
  10. I like to blockstring into IAD > j.D. Other wise known as the reverse freeze. It's pretty much guaranteed to land unless you mess up the IAD or the opponent notices it, blocks & punishes. Its also a good substitute for ending a blockstring with 3C > 236A. Another gimmick i use is Jin's 214B on blockstring, after the 2nd hit is blocked i go for a rapid cancel into air dash j.2C > j.D Its a good gimmick against Ragna's who will be desperate to ID through all your shit. I've noticed that i like to do 5B, 2B, 5C, jump cancel delayed j.B, then from there i go for a dashing 6A

  12. So true I did the same thing in Guilty and ended up with Sol as my main. But then i moved to Ky after messing around with him in training. For BB i picked Jin since he's the Ky equivalent in BB. I also like using characters with a refined, very precise style of play.

  21. 1st combo does work, i assume you dont believe so because of the 6C but it does connect, you just need good timing.(Check out the Break A Mirror combo movie) 2nd is open to opinion but i use this combo often and i usually win lol
  22. 5B(2) > 5C > 214B > (dashing) 6C > 6D > (dashing) grab whiff > Sekka-jin > DP B > 623A. 5B > 2B > 5C > 214B *RC on 2nd hit* > (dash) j.2C > j.D > (dashing) 5B > 3C > 2B > 5C > DP B.
