Depends on whether it has shitty netcode or not. I quit online after realizing all the stupid shit that flies in BB/Marvel netplay. At least arcade has more legit play. I still mash DP regardless, but at least I know I will be punished for it.

There's definitely (minor) lag on some of the cabs, I noticed during a recent Marvel tourney.

I don't think anyone actually practices MB anymore, but Reiki.Kito hosts Melty biweekly(?) Melty sessions at Gamecenter/Southtown. For GG I know Honnou's always having sessions. That guy can teach you every character, no joke.

Yeah, but with the successful history of Melty I'm surprised they're not cashing on the FG craze every other company seems to be on. I'm just hoping this gathers enough steam so there might actually be a US scene/competition.

Just wondering if there's any carpools available FROM Evo to NorCal after the event. I have transportation to the LV and (supposedly) leaving but I'm worried about the possibility of people flaking. I'm willing to pay whatever fair split of gas/toll.

I just gotta give more love to Southtown. Real talk best arcade I been to, the player support is amazing. They got 2v2 Gundam setup due to popular demand, same with CS2 and XIII. A player came downfor some 3S, they didn't have it set up but accommodated him, in just a few minutes they had the cab up and running. The Marvel tourney was run on a laggy monitor, as an apology they refunded entry fee to ALL players. Anyone in NorCal, whatever you play, animu, danmaku or puzzle games should support this place.

I play Tallgeese/Turn-A and there are some Epyon players too. Coming down for the XIII ranbat at ST? I heard some SoCal is gonna be there.

I need a new laptop so I can run KoF at a good speed. I thought BB was pretty, but KoF is just gorgeous.

I'm learning KoF, since that's what everyone is playing at the arcades. I would complain about Makoto, but TBH CS2 seems to be an improvement over CS1 for the most part. And troll games can be fun .

After NCR I'm dropping Marvel and maining Gundam .
