  1. In terms of spacing you need to be right next to them before the backhop, to be able to 2A them. CH is a pretty steep requirement, but I'd guess most people won't tech out immediately after getting hit by a tsubaki, since they wouldn't have mentally registered getting hit by it. Haku's backdash is really quick, so would backdash Tsubaki be useful for mixup if we switch it up with empty backdash >3C?
  2. So it's like this: it only works off of backdash CH Tsubaki, and I think it works on everyone (tested on Noel, Tager and Makoto only, but if it works on Tager then it'll work on everyone). The way to do it : Backdash CH Tsubaki> immediate 2A> 5B > jump loop. Got like 4.2K off of it. And the easy input method to guarantee backdash tsubaki/hotaru/agito is: 21454 C/B/A
  3. Uhhhh... I think I found a way to combo after CH Tsubaki without using any more stars than the initial cost for Tsubaki. Plus an easy input method to get guaranteed backdash Hotaru/Tsubaki/Agito everytime

  7. Calling dibs on a prediction. Lol. So GGXXAC+R was chosen as the ArcSys EVO game? Who do we have to talk/complain to to change that? Were the Dustloop mods the ones who made that decision? Edit: +R is a new rebalance of an old game. Ofc it'll look old.
  8. Speaking of EVO, i remember mr. wizard asking which ArcSys game did the anime community want for EVO 2014 (GGAC+R, BBCP, or P4A) as one of the main tourneys. Was BBCP chosen? Because it certainly deserves that spot. GGAC+R is just a rebalance and P4A already got its chance.

Just found out that ArcSys really put thought into BBCP's features: If you have save data from the digital version and decided that you wanted a physical disc instead, the save data from the digital version works with the physical version. I had pre-ordered the physical version but chose free shipping from play-asia, but couldn't wait so I "borrowed" (game-shared) my friend's digital version till I got my copy. I did challenges, unlocked Kagura and shit, so when my copy finally arrived, turns out it all the progress I made with the digital version transfers to the physical one. And I bet it's also possible viceversa.

  14. A nice corner-to-corner OD combo, done at full health: (tested on terumi and kagura) 5B > 5C > 3C > cOD > 5B > 5D(1) > GH > KA (OD ends) > dash 3C > 22C > DC > dash 5C > HF > 5B > DID-upper-axkick Damage: 4493. Heat: 29
  15. No no I mean 5B as a starter, you do 5C but because the opponent has jumped at the last frame the 5C whiffs because of its poor vertical hitbox.
  16. Anyone else finding it annoying that 5C whiffs alot on airborne opponents? I'm not talking late mid-combo, you can just delay the 5C, I'm talking about when you dash in with a 5B but the opponent is airborne at the last frame before 5B hits, so that the hitconfirm with 5C whiffs and the combo gets dropped.

  20. There's no need for that, if your keyboard is an english keyboard it'll automatically type in English.
  21. So, CP is out. Ragna's D-ID is kind of finicky, really gotta do 623 properly without going over 6 after the 3, otherwise you get deadspike. Also, I wish he were stronger.
  22. Are there plans on DustLoop to make a guide of some sort to help those who import BBCP who can't read moonrunes to navigate through the menus, training mode and such?
