  3. Yo, what's up? I just noticed that your sub-heading-or-whatever-it's-called (the 88224646A.B start) is from Invader Zim, more specifically, Gaz. Don't remember which episode, though. Am I right, or am I right?

  4. CS2 might be close, but that didn't stop me from experimenting! I thought I'd experiment with linking stuff after a 2C FC. So far I can do FC 2C, dash 5B OR FC 2C, 6A OR FC 2C, dash 2C, then follow those up with a combo. Both the following combos are meterless. Combos I tried out so far are with dash 5b (I'll explain the dash soon enough): FC 2C, dash 5B* > 6A> 2C >5D (1st hit) > GH > **(almost max delay) followup> 5c >hjc>j.C>j.D > jc> j.C > ***BE > dash6D > j.D > jc > jC > DID > upper > ax kick Damage: 4850 Heat: 56 *dash 5B so that 2C can hit, and the 1st hit 5D can connect, otherwise it won't work. ** you can do the GH followup abit earlier, and still hit them with the 5C, but you'd have to j.C>j.D>jc> j.C> j.D> BE, for BE to bounce. ***for some reason BE doesn't always hit the required number of hits to get 4850 damage, it'll be a bit lower (I think 4819). Probably has something to do with the jump cancel orientations/angles, or maybe I've max delay hitted with 5c after GH followup, I dunno. You can do a variation for more heat: FC 2C, dash 5B >6A >2C >5D (1st hit)> GH > *almost max delay* followup> 5c > hjc >j.C >j.D > jc> j.C> BE > dash6D > j.D> jc > jC > BE > 5D (1st hit)> DID > upper >ax kick Damage: 4794 Heat: 61 I haven't tried any FC 2C, 2C combos, because I've spent more than an hour getting the above combos down for match use, as well as combo data. Hell, I even got the Training mode trophy, and my hands hurt. Anyways, I guess FC 2c, 2c will yield even more damage than the above combos. Ah well, see ya later guys.

  10. ^Dude, if it were actually true in actual gameplay, I'd do a f*cking Omnislash. Too bad it ain't true. PS. Mugen is not useless, it's just extremely situational.
  11. Hey guys, I think I discovered something! I didn't see it posted anywhere, and it's something that is currently available, not something from the loketests: Haku can use as much Rapid Cancels in Mugen as he wants, as long as Mugen lasts. It doesn't use up 4 magatama in Mugen, so it's like using a special move during mugen. It's pretty neat. EDIT: Ok, this is kinda weird. I tried doing it in Training, but it didn't work, but it worked in Challenge mode, where I first found out about it. Gonna test it out more. EDIT: Ok forget about it, it doesn't work in Versus either, which automatically means that it's a glitch in Challenge mode. Damn, and I got all excited about it too.

  13. I'd want a GG vs BB, if only for the possible epic vs. themes. Like Sol vs Ragna, or Baiken vs Hakumen.
  14. These changes are just too much, BB would be very different from what it was when it started. I don't think I'll like that.
  15. I was looking into getting a 2d fighting game in July 2009 (I had KOFXII in mind), but then I saw a review of BB:CT on the gamesite I go to, and became interested. Saw videos of gameplay on YT and my decision was set; I HAD to get this game. Got it LE, one of the first people to get it in my country.

You know, sometimes I optimistically wish that after all this testing hullabaloo, it would turn out that these loketests were in no way representative or contributive to the changes the balance patch are going to bring, and ArcSys were just trolling the public for fun, and that they've balanced the game properly behind closed doors (like fixing 5c>5d for Jin, etc.). I don't really like these changes that much, it's like watching a circus performer balancing a plate on his nose, and you're hoping he wouldn't drop the plate. P.S. Is it possible for the changes in the balance patch to be different from the changes seen in the final loketest? As in post-loketest balancing?

  20. Well, the damage off of it is weak, but the most important thing is the mindgame aspect of it. Say you land it once, the opponent is knocked down, you hop a bit closer, he neutral techs (or was it emergency tech?), you do it again (because usually they get up blocking low), same thing, they get annoyed, they neutral tech and block high- OH NO YOU 3Ced! And you're close enough to 2b>gurren after it because you hopped closer after both 6Bs. It just annoys the hell out of them, and you didn't use any magatama for it.

  22. Well, yeah, I know about the 5 frame input buffer, but they don't You can say it's a 1 frame link and it's still true. Don't all fighting games have 5frame buffers though, or is it only BB? Damn, that's a lot of proration. 75%*75% is too much. On paper, that is.
  23. How so? If j.2C was made like CT's J.C, then all you had to do to do that link was delay your j.2C a bit more. If you can't airthrow ->j.2C at a specific height, then you can use j.B. It's height-reliant, so you have to train yourself to visually make out what move to use. Fumajin = the black void when you hit a projectile with your sword. For some reason 2C doesn't produce those, even though it's a sword attack. It's no big deal if we lost 3C>3C anyways. If you 3C too far, then move closer. Applicable before 3C and after 3C. It's an overhead. And it was quick. You could play mindgames with it. Like me Well, yeah, there's that too. Pfft, you kids and your brand new 4C's. Back in my day, we 6Ced our way in. *6C's into a bath*

  25. Nah man, I like the current difficulty level in executing this combo, makes me feel special when I do it Wouldn't that mean they'd have to revert j.2C's start up back to CT status? This is a MUST. I think it's actually a bug that's never been fixed or detected, because honestly, it says in fumajin's description "sword attacks", and 2C most certainly isn't a groin kick, it's a sword attack. I want to agree with you, but that means they'd have to revert it back to CT status, with 12 activeframes and 20 recovery, otherwise a huge window + special cancel is kinda too OP. Fixed for you. I reaaaally missed this from CT, I want it!!! What? It's good as it is, man, makes you feel good when you do it. I don't get it, it's fine as it is. You can already do 3C (ch?), 2b>gurren, so it's fine as it is right now. I don't mind this, but it's ok-ish as it is now. A quick overhead that bounces on CH? That's s-tier stuff man. I mean, ok they can revert 6b back to what it was in CT, but then that's losing an overhead that didn't cost any magatama. Nah man, it's good as it is,as most of Zantetsu's damage is in the first hit, not the second hit, and it adds extra proration. Yes please! Oh, and one more thing --Remove 4c. This is my wishlist i.e. in addition to what I said about Blade's changes.
